But I was only seeing spotty stories on twitter at the time and was looking for any confirmation/denial or actual news report.

Dang we are all at my daughter’s travel basketball practice saying TMZ is trash and probably false. This sucks. RIP Kobe.

I feel like one of my own children has died. Kobe was a role model for everyone, not just teenagers or NBA fans. He was one of the greatest men to ever walk the face of this earth and nothing will ever be the same now without him.

The world has lost a great leader and insightful legend who brought joy to everyone he ever came into contact with.

This is such a shame.
