Here's the thing. It got all blown way out of proportion. But all this personal stuff doesn't need to be aired out here, when both parties are known. Let them work it out between themselves. Or not. Either way, it's gone on too long as it is.

Has anyone ever used turnitin.com for an essay or research paper? I just submitted an essay and was told that it had 7% similarity to other works on the internet. I know what it means, but is this good or bad? God knows I didn't plagiarize a damn thing, but I've never used this before to have a point of reference. I have heard a few people mention that it was sensitive as hell and that you would get some sort of percentage no matter what.

7% is fine. Most teachers set a limit (around 15-20 I think).
