man this is one heck of a heat wave.... reminds me of summer 1980 a little bit. here in my town of Wheatley which is in-between Little Rock and Memphis it's going to be in the high 90s all this week and into the next... not quite an end in sight according to the local news, also really dry

seeing where may be even worse to the north of us in St Louis and east over by Nashville.... going to be a real scorcher in Omaha for the series also....

Best to all & hope your ac is working, i worry for those in ohio who lost power in the storms and now are stuck in this heat wave without power

sorry correction... Wheatley is between Little Rock and Memphis... not Forrest City... but Forrest City is the closest main town to us. my town is none more than a farming community, we travel out of town to shop, go to the doctor, etc.

Scorcher in Auburn. Next week 100 before the heat index. It was 110 today with the humidity.

Actually cooling off in Dallas area. The worst of this heat wave hit Texas over last weekend. Was miserable hot. Generally staying right around 100 for us the rest of the week, which is a nice break from 105.

98 with 65% humidity. Will be warmer the next few days but hopefully the humidity decreases.

it is when it affects your crops especially pretty early on in the growing season... getting worried this one is fixing to get like 2012 with that god awful heat wave in june that year... course 2011 was bad also especially over in tx, friend told me he lost near two dozen cattle summer 2011 because the heat in tx was so bad

Yeah. It is hell on Earth so to speak. For me the issue is getting my mom out of the house into the car and over to physical therapy when the heat index is 110. That is an awful lot to ask of her at her age.

Therapy does her a world of good but this is a very hard week to do that for her.

Hit 97 with a heat index of 109 yesterday

At like 9 PM last night I was smoking a doink on my back porch and when I walked back inside it looked like I had run a marathon in a swamp.

It is so hot here that the devil visited, got out of his car and went back in then drove off.

Close to 100 today...Cool front coming through, dropping to the upper 60s tonight...Saturday and Sunday will be in the 80s. Back up to upper 90s Monday and around 100 Tuesday and Wednesday...it's like a roller coaster.

High today is 77°, low is 52°. Tomorrow it’ll be 79°H and 57°L. Low humidity both days.

Then on Monday the sun will again center itself over Cincinnati, the winds will go away, the Ohio River will evaporate until the humidity is again 88% and the temps will return to the low to mid 90s. Then comes July.
