What is your favorite lure?

What do you use it to fish for?

What's your preferred knot to use to secure it?

Outdoor board. People don't really have favorite knots. They use one or two knots they start using from a young age.
Trilene or polamar for 95percent

Also, da fuq does his sig quote have to do with sports? I thought we all were in favor of keeping politics out of sports, especially his side.

Choosing a lure depends on the season, the fish, the weather, the clarity of the water, etc. Salt water? Lake or stream?
I generally like worms for fishing for crappie or bream in the lake on a warm spring morning. Sometimes crickets on a cooler late afternoon. Rattletraps work well for bass in the weeds or lily pads. Plastic worms or frogs in the shallows near submerged trees or shrubs.

For trolling, you shouldn’t put the same hook in the water every time. In fact, for a troll to maximize his effectiveness, 90% of his posts should be straight up legitimate sports takes — no shitposting, flaming, or trolling. Then the other 10% of the posts will have the fish pretty much jumping in the boat.

Weightless green pumpkin/watermelon senko on a 2/3 ot hook pre spawn and during spawn. International largemouth/black bass catching bait.

Lucky for me we have smallmouth in our lake as well. You can catch them on the senko, but they reside mostly up in the clear water. So I enjoy throwing light rod reel set up/6lb test. Catch them on any shad color grubs/swimbaits.

Crappie fishing is fun for a few days during their spawn. Black and green chartreuse crappie jig is all I need.

My favorite fishing stretch is from fall thru spring. With the population boom we've had up here, summertime fishing is a no go. Too many obnoxious people/boats. And I'm not a fan of 90 degree heat on calm water. I will occasionally go out for the top water bite, but that's about it.

Palomar ftw.

If I'm just having fun catching little ones, I'll just tie a fisherman knot.

You have a choice not to participate in the thread.

But I'm going to continue to post about sports in the Sec.

Auburn has one of the most successful teams in the nation. You don't like it. I don't care .
