Even though these are experts who know what they're doing...why even risk it?

A widespread disease outbreak is a wet dream for the elite class.
Gonna happen sooner or later.

Who needs terrorists when we can just infect ourselves.

Agreed. If they infect even one other person, not worth it, IMO. They chose to take the risk being over there.

Humans contract Ebola through contact with the bodily fluids of infected animals or the bodily fluids of infected humans.
Infected men who have recovered can still spread the virus via their sperm for up to 7 weeks. This is likely the reason for the continuing outbreak.
Key to prevention: Don't go down on a sick one.

DAMMIT!
I thought this was a thread welcoming my Auntie who is coming to visit!
Not concerned. Easy to contain in FIRST WORLD circumstances. Not air borne.

You can't catch it unless you share body fluid with them. Not much of a risk.

I hope these people they're bringing to Atlanta don't poop in the Six Flags White Water park. We already had an E.coli outbreak there.

I prefer zero to "not much of a risk", personally.

Somebody needs to wake Rick Grimes from his coma, it's time!

You have a MASSIVELY greater chance that you will die in a car accident, fall at home, or food poisoning than fricking Ebola.
Relax....and change lanes carefully

It mutates and there is no cure. There is a reasonable basis for minor concern, IMO.

Wasn't there a University of Texas professor calling for air borne ebola?

AUSTIN -- A University of Texas professor says the Earth would be better off with 90 percent of the human population dead. "Every one of you who gets to survive has to bury nine," Eric Pianka cautioned students and guests at St. Edward's University on Friday. Pianka's words are part of what he calls his "doomsday talk" - a 45-minute presentation outlining humanity's ecological misdeeds and Pianka's predictions about how nature, or perhaps humans themselves, will exterminate all but a fraction of civilization. Though his statements are admittedly bold, he's not without abundant advocates. But what may set this revered biologist apart from other doomsday soothsayers is this: Humanity's collapse is a notion he embraces.

This coming from a Black Helicopter Pilot? I don't think so.
And those of us with backgrounds in CBRN defense really don't like potential epidemics.
