Holy shite. I put that on the big screen. Made my toes curl.
When the ceiling is lower than 3,500 ft, it's scary as hell. You have no clue where the mountain is and can feel the plane dropping and rising.
The other approach from the West, the plane dips about 20 degrees to clear a hill and drops onto the runway over the tidal flats.

lanes leaving Juneau used to do this maneuver (still do on rare occasions) called the Lemon Creek Turn
Got to encounter that once a long time ago. Hope to again sometime. Best trip I've ever been on was up there.

Flying from Memphis to Jacksonville and two engines on the left side of the plane caught fire and died. Plane filled with smoke and we landed at the tiny private airstrip at Talledaga. As soon as the plane began filling with smoke the pilot put it in a dive to get us low enough to ventilate the plane but he didn't explain this over the PA. When we dropped under the clouds all we could see was rural Alabama and we all thought we were crashing. Northwest Airlines bussed us to Atlanta and gave us a $250 voucher and $20 worth of airport food coupons.

Some of these airports are an experience within themselves. Yakutat, Sitka, etc.
Sitka leaves no margin for error. It's water, landing strip, water.

Lufthansa 737 flight from London to Frankfurt. Plane gets to altitude, drinks are served. starts to get bumpy then WHAM! Plane falls 500 feet straight down. Beers go on the ceiling. One guy came out of his seat.
Pilot said strap in it was gonna be bumpy but the ATC wouldnt let us decend. Then the plane did it again and people started losing their shite. Pilot made a command decision and descended immediately and told ATC to deal with it.
There were Army paratroopers on that plane just traveling in civvies and they said that was as bad as anything they ever dealt with. I've flown thousands of times both domestically and international for business over 30 years and that was BY FAR the scariest thing I ever had happen.
That and trying to claim your luggage at Newark airport.

First time I went to Vegas I took one of those sunshine tour group things...awful mistake.
Flight home was 2 hrs behind. Finally get on the plane and start taxiing...guy in the seat in front of me takes off his shirt. FA tells him to put it on...he says he's hot...she says tough I'll ask you one more time...he refuses...plane then proceeds back to the terminal where no shirt guy is taken off by police and left at airport. His mom argues wth them which wastes another 15 minutes...mom concerned because no shirt guy has no money, FA says you can get off plane too or sit down. Mom sits...
Taxi again...in line to take off again. Lady in plane has epilictic seizure...return to terminal, takes another 1.5 hrs to get that dealt with...
Land in Dallas at 430am...flight scheduled to arrive at 8...pull up, plane shuts down we are all waiting for door to open so we can de-plane, pilot comes on and says the flag guy stopped the plane before we reached the gate...must wait for cart to push the plane the last 6 ft...another 30 minutes...get home at 7am imagine that flight after 4 days in Vegas...

Overnight Transatlantic flight (US Air) from Philadelphia to Paris. We hit some crazy turbulence during the night while flying over the Atlantic Ocean. The plane plummeted hundreds, possibly thousands, of feet at a time. I thought we were going to die. Thankfully, the plane survived 30 minutes to an hour of this and we made it to Europe safely.

St. Bart's approach is about as nerve racking as it gets. Basically bank around a mountain then dive straight down, it feels, to the short runway that ends on the beach. YouTube that one. Wife and I did the hop over from St. Maarten and one I'll not soon forget.

Have flown only 3 times.
Worst was flying from StL-Charlotte-Florence, SC
In Charlotte, the plane we were supposed to get on had a landing gear failure and was leaking brake line fluid. Maintenance fixed it in 5 minutes and we were back in the air.
Wasn't that bad compared to most on here, but considering how little I had flown I was scared as frick. Texted my mom and sister and they were talking about final destination and told me not to get on.

Thanks y'all. I already hate flying because I imagine worst case scenarios, but luckily I only fly about 4-5 times a year.

Worst flight ever was honey moon flight to Hawaii. Leave DIA for LAX, turbulence is absolutely unbelievable. Drops, dips, shaking, and rattling. Never in my life thought I was going to die as much as that 20 minutes. Everyone spilling drinks, bouncing up then getting yanked down by seat belts. So so terrifying. Then once we went from LAX to the big island, I left my wallet in the seatback. Wife goes ahead and catches next plane out to Kauai but I had to wait for them to clean the plane, find my wallet, pay a change fee then wait three hours to take next flight to meet the wife. She wasn't too pleased with me being scatterbrained after near death experience

Home to XNA from Vegas after my bachelor party. Flew Allegiant. Those planes are shite. They turned the AC off to power up for takeoff, I guess? No idea why. I was sweating bullets and about to puke/lose it if they didn't get the air back on immediately.

Early 90's headed to a Saints game in Phoenix
Flew through a cold front on our way to a stop in Houston. Hit a wind shear and the plane was literally slam dunked downward for 5 seconds. Every drink went flying, all the women were screaming and some were crying. But all the business guys that fly every day were laughing.
Scared the shite out of me. Took all I had to get on the next plane in Houston for the second leg.

Flew a converted UPS plane to Boise for the Humanitarian Bowl as a trainer. And had to take care of a couple guys who had air sickness on the way. Longest. Flight. Ever.

that is my experience with Delta Airlines. I only fly southwest and American now.
Amen to that. My worst happened two months ago. I had to reschedule a return flight with Delta. As you cannot do this by yourself on-line, you must call them and make the arrangements over the phone with their Tampa office.
So after giving them my requested flights and getting assurances there were openings on all, they requested my credit card details so that they could book the tickets. I was assured that I would get a confirmed ticket number and itinerary within 48.
Three days later I call again and get apologies as nothing had been done. So we go through the entire routine again, confirm seats, credit card details, the whole thing.
Three days later, nothing again. I call a third time and again have to go through it all. But this time I got a confirmed booking within an hour.
Soooo... my departure date arrives and I fly MSY to JFK prior to catching my flight to AMS and guess what? No tickets at JFK due to the fact that my credit card details were not entered in time (within three days) and my seats were gone. Yes, the agent said it was their fault and were duly sorry, "but there is nothing we can do."
I find an alternative flight to AMS but have to wait two days there before I am able to get a seat for my next leg.
And Delta offered to pay one night's accommodation. Period. I told them to stick it up their arse. If they can find it. Delta Airlines: "but there is nothing we can do."
On a better note, two days in AMS is not a bad way to revenge oneself.
