Was there some bad blood there or something? I saw where Wes and a player were ejected earlier in the game.
Too lazy to look it up, is it a rushing or receiving touchdown for Allen?
Why did we move to electronic voting machines if it wasn't going to make it easier?

Ahh, didn't realize the Rivercats belonged to the Giants. Just assumed since the A's were going there that there was an affiliation. Thank you for the info everyone.

Sacramento A's

Since they will be sharing the stadium with their AAA team how will scheduling work? I realize the A's will take precedence but with the AAA and MLB schedule is it possible to always have one of the teams on the road?
I thought Soldier Field was on the National Register of Historic Places. If so it won't be torn down. I could be mistaken though.
Arkansas HS football is generally $110-$150 depending on the conference. The lower levels obviously pay less and that’s usually where you take the most abuse. Not saying this guy should’ve walked off in the middle of a game but when you start figuring the hourly rate compared to expenses and one’s tolerance for bullshite I get it.
I'm surprised China hasn't made a play for Siberia. I guess the nukes are a good deterrent?
In Arkansas you’ll make $100 for a Friday night varsity game at 4A and above. You’re gonna have to travel though, it’s just the nature of the beast. It’s a rural state and the conferences are spread all over. The good ones don’t do it for the money but no one is gonna do it for free. When you factor in your gas and meals and time your hourly rate isn’t much better than working part time at a big box store. For the most part guys can live with that because of the comraderie and being able to be a part of a sport you love. There aren’t many new guys coming in and the next few years it will start to show. I’ve tried to recruit but it’s hard when the new guys have to cut their teeth on the dumbasses coaching and parenting at the youth level. Most wont stick around long enough to see varsity action.
How many SWAC alums are in the majors? Serious question.
I thought NASA's foremost mission was to improve relations with the Muslim world?
Flying from Memphis to Jacksonville and two engines on the left side of the plane caught fire and died. Plane filled with smoke and we landed at the tiny private airstrip at Talledaga. As soon as the plane began filling with smoke the pilot put it in a dive to get us low enough to ventilate the plane but he didn't explain this over the PA. When we dropped under the clouds all we could see was rural Alabama and we all thought we were crashing. Northwest Airlines bussed us to Atlanta and gave us a $250 voucher and $20 worth of airport food coupons.

He's a good coach with an impressive record but another thing you need to consider is that he coaches at a wealthy private school in a metro area. He has resources and parent buy-in that most of his competition don't have. When you compare Pulaski Academy to Helena - West Helena or Sylvan Hills you're not exactly comparing apples to apples.

At least two members of LSU Sports Properties are former Hogs. We're invading.

Shanklin now works for the LSU athletic department. Look it up. Popcorn Mike?
If we play LSU in Little Rock because the students are gone for Thanksgiving then why do we always play in Fville on Labor Day? Wouldn't it make more sense to play that game in Little Rock as well and play in Fville the next weekend?

re: SEC divisions and scheduling

Why couldn't you go to 4 divisions and keep the last weekend before the SEC championship game as a flex date and have a schedule based on division standings. For example division 1 1st place against division 2 1st place and so on. It would be a defacto semifinal and every conference team would be active. Does the NCAA require that the schedules be locked in before the start of the season?
I'd say we have 40 minutes of hell right now. Did you watch the game yesterday?
