There are like a hundred forums at this website. A non trash talk football board isn’t one of them but a music board is. Off topic too for that matter. Actually 2 of them.

yes Louisiana is not known for any roots in American music.

Also take away "bro country" which absolutely sucks and is an abomination.

Kentucky has Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton, Loretta Lynn, Sturgill Simpson.
I am not even from Kentucky but they are 1000 times ahead of anyone else in great American southern music.

Darrius Rucker (SC) ... black country music ... says hi.

Gotta admit though, speaking of black, Clint Black is my all-time favorite. George Strait probably my second.

Whatever happened to my girl, Lorrie Morgan (TN). I used-to faptodat.

And oh, btw, when we're talking about "not a cultural fit" we're talking about UTa specifically and their woke left coast libtard sensibilities ... not the states of Texas and Oklahoma.

Now, the state of Missouri is another story but pathway-wise, geographically, Missouri makes Oklahoma doable. Missouri is technically a bridge state so-to-speak.

And there's a ton more. It's silly to say we aren't a cultural fit. LOL

How many of them still live in Oklahoma?

South of 44 is southern. North of 44 is basically Michigan.
