Any Bourbon/Whiskey fans?

Been on an experimental kick lately. Love the Chattanooga 1816 Cask Strength. Also love Larceny...nice and butter-ish.

Whatcha drinking?

I'm kind of all over the place. Had some Woodford tonight. I really enjoy Laphroaig 10 when I'm in the mood for a little peatiness. Also, though I see some people sneer at it, I like regular old Jameson for something cheap to sip on.

Buffalo Trace is the best daily drinker.

Eagle Rare is a step above.

Four Roses Small Batch is top notch.

Picked up some Eagle Rare a few months back. Loved it.

Also, someone recommended Old Grandad. Tried it last night. Sneaky good for the price. To me, its better than some higher priced big names

That reminds me of Bird Dog. Lord I had a bad night once. Drinking beer all day and then slugging black berry bird dog. : Yuck :

I don’t mix bourbon with anything anymore, but I used to drink Old Grandad and Dr. Pepper when I was younger. Not a bad little combo.

Drink mostly scotch. Here is the best thing ive had in a while though, which is actually an Irish Whiskey.

Had some of this recently and it was really good. Made by one guy out of Huntsville.

Someone always smuggles some of that on one of my canoe trips every year. It’s always the last thing left and the last thing we drink on Saturday night and leads to a roaring hangover.

Jameson isn’t bad Irish whiskey.

It doesn’t have to cost $100 a fifth to be decent whiskey.

When I used to drink a lot of Scotch, I actually liked Johnny Walker Red over a lot of other blended Scotches, and Glenfiddich is a good, less expensive single malt.

I go through phases of getting into it. Currently on a Basil Hayden's kick. It's pretty easy drinking at 80 proof. I like it straight over whiskey stones from the freezer.

Sadly, my favorite has become scarce and pricey.

Elmer T Lee. I used to be able to get this for 45-55/bottle and now if I find it it's close to 70/75.

But oh so good.

I drink a lot of Buffalo Trace and Four Roses. The others that I really like are E H Taylor, Eagle Rare, and Blantons.
