Yeah. I get that too.
Empty department stores give me the heebie-jeebies

Empty restaurants I get, but I love going to the grocery store early Sunday morning and being the only shopper in there.

I HATE businesses that have no customers. It gives me a spooky feeling if I walk into a business and I'm the only customer, especially a restaurant or department store.
Restaurant, absolutely.
Stores, not so much. Unless there are swarms of sales people inhibiting my shopping.

Absolutely. An uncrowded grocery store is always a welcome feeling.

I'm ashamed because it is an ever present thought

that's a shame too because it's the only guarantee in life. death will most certainly happen to you and everyone you know.
i imagine that being scared of something that is unavoidable is torture.

Escalators. Haven't ridden one in 20 years.
Big, giant statues of people. Like the big creepy Jesus in Rio.
Ugh, I got sweaty palms just typing this.

I have a constant and irrational fear of my car careening off of a cliff into a body of water at any given moment. I have had frequent and consistant nightmares about such a thing for as long as I can remember.

Snakes, bridges, and riding behind one of those logging trucks thinking I will be impaled at any moment!

Being alone, hate it probably my biggest fear.

I've skydived with no issues and I'm a frequent flyer.
However, if I'm standing on top of a very tall building or skyscraper, I get a feeling like the building is leaning in the wind and I may slide off the edge and fall to my death.
Completely retarded, but it damn near paralyzes me.
