The Shining is tops for me thus far.

I got halfway through The Stand and sort of forgot about it.

The Bachman Books but it's three short books in one.

I'd go with The Shining.

I want to try Under The Dome but I don't think I'll ever finish it. The thing is nearly as thick as a dictionary.

Haven't read it, but I own it.

Have you read 11/22/63?

Nope. That was the one that was next on my list after Under The Dome. I might switch and try 11/22/63 first.

I saw dreamcatcher as a movie and never read the book, is it an endeavor I should undertake? The movie was pretty good, did it leave much out?

Salem's Lot.

This is how vampires are supposed to be.

Now queue all the responses including Shawshank and Green Mile.

Shawshank was okay. As was the movie. Gets way too much praise.

Which one was Children of the Corn in? Four Past Midnight (that might be wrong) or something like that? I think the Langoliers was in it too.

Try to forget about the movie.

Unfortunately Dreamcatcher is one of my favorite books ever, and you know when that happens the movie can never live up to it. So I didn't really like the movie, even though I probably would have if I hadn't read the book.

The Shining and The Stand are my two favorites.

You really should go back and read it. It was a little slow in parts, but well worth finishing, IMO.
