It's EVERYTHING to do with a "fricking agenda". Vehicles aren't Constitutional Rights and having a Gov't agency under political appointments and Gov't funding used to "study" crime when their purpose is disease is "fricking" retarded and agenda driven. Pure and simple.

And the NRA are The People. So yeah, frick the CDC jumping into the gun control business and using tax dollars to manipulate data and information in the guise of safety.

Why is it when it comes to crime in America the "root-causers" on the left claim locking people up has no affect on crime rates; that we must solve the root causes of crime - poverty, education, etc (coincidentally, all their solutions involve massive federal programs and expenditures).*

Yet, when it comes to international terrorism we mustn't focus on its root cause - the Islamic religion. Instead, focus on the guns. Kinda curious, don'cha think?

*Libs never mention the prison construction boom of the late 80s/early 90s as a factor in the still falling crime rates from the mid-90s to the present. Kinda find that odd, too.

yeah it's like they give the NRA and Focus on the Family complete and utter culpability in anything that happens on capitol hill and act like Planned Parenthood, NAACP, and the ACLU don't exist.

Terrorist: I (commit horrible crime against humanity) in the name of Allah!!!!!

Liberal: No...you are mentally ill and responding to your oppression.

Terrorist: No! I (commit horrible crime against humanity) in the name of Allah!!!!! Look...here's my manifesto, and my Youtube of my allegiance to ISIS.

Liberal: Poor misguided soul. It's the easy access to guns, and the Christian right that has forced you to do this

I believe in the 2nd amendment. Our forefathers came from an oppressive government and they not only fled but then had to fight them when the government chased them across an ocean. They understood in a way none of us can, the need to be able to defend your family and country against enemies foreign or domestic. By necessity, that means citizens need the right to bear something more powerful than a BB gun.

That said, the fact that guys like this can get a gun legally tell us the system is broken. Anybody with a connection to or suspicion of radical Islamic terrorism should automatically be disqualified in the system. This guy had a connection to a suicide bomber in Syria. His father has publicly been recorded spewing hate speech. He was connected to a mosque that preached radical ideologies(why aren't these shut down?). Any one of those things should have put a flag in the system that would have prevented him from purchasing the guns.

All of that said, he easily could have done what the terrorist couple did in California....get someone else without a record to buy the guns. Or, he could have built a bomb, hijacked a plane, etc. The answer is not taking weapons from honest law abiding citizens, the answer is in part fixing the loopholes in a system that should have red-flagged this mfer long ago.

Well said. I mentioned in an earlier post that political correctness has removed common sense in this country, and this incident is proof of that. No way he should have been allowed to purchase a gun of any kind. As you stated that might not have prevented this, but I guess we won't know.
