I ate some beef haj from an Iraqi food truck in downtown Portland last month. It was probably the best food truck cuisine I've ever had.

frick Indian food though.

Indians use a lot of spice in almost everything.

A couple of my favorites:

Paneer masala, which is like a thick, spicy tomato soup with cubes of goat cheese in it.

Biryani. This is like Indian jambalaya.

A couple of my best friend's growing up were Indian. I used to be a very picky eater. But Indian food completely opened up my palate.

It's so damn good. Though in a lot of places, it's hard to find anything decent. And shitty Indian is like blue balls.

I thought the SEC Rant represented a more cultured class of people than the Tiger Rant. I'm surprised to find a thread about Indian/Middle Eastern cuisine as if those types of restaurants aren't ubiquitous in 2017.

Could be that the OP is just a good ole country baw... And there's nothing wrong with that.

I love indian food.

Shahi Paneer (spiced coconut curry with cheese)
Saag Paneer (spiced creamed spinach with cheese)
Aloo Palek (spiced creamed spinach with potatos)

Ate there a couple of weeks ago. Got a flight of Japanese whiskies to go with it. Good decision.

Zyka in Decatur (Atlanta) is some of the best Indian I've ever had.

Bawarchi Biryanis in Sandy Springs has curries I've never seen elsewhere. Very authentic. Try any of their Gongura dishes.

Have it at least 200 times a year.

Somosa's are snack food, simply a deep fried pastry with whatever you like inside, yours probably had a good bit of chilies.
