The amount of money spent on political campaigns is absolutely appalling .

While I agree with her on wall street and foreign policy. As you pointed out, she's a fraud. don't really have a candidate as of now tbh.

All the Repubs are in Nashville sucking up to the NRA. I hate pandering of any type, but that is all that goes on today.
Did I mention that Hillary swallows and nobody cares?

THIS!
I think the GOP practically comes down to Paul, Rubio, and Bush.
Cruz probably won't matter unless his gambit to be the religious right candidate works. He's got the fight and fire about him to tap into social conservatives fear and outrage over the secular direction society is going.
Walker might make some noise, but I have significant doubts he has the polish to get through the primary.
The rest are jokes. Especially Jindal. frick Jindal. To be clear, it's not as much about his policies as his incredible lack of ability as an executive.
Hillary has an interesting position. Assuming no one else steps up for the Dems, she'll find herself coming into a general election cold against a GOP candidate who's machine has been in the slog for a while. That's a tough position to start trying to really get the campaign going against someone with momentum ready to unleash their entire salvo.
The GOP just better not nominate a trash candidate.

Bush, Rubio, and Paul could all win a general.
I know you're skeptical of Bush, but he's not his brother. He'd probably be pretty good as POTUS, just too bad he's a crony capitalist and foreign policy hawk. He has the chops to take Hillary down if conservatives will go with him.
Look, Hilldawg has weaknesses but you can't exploit them by running crazy against her.

I'll throw my 02c right now for Madam President elect Hillary Clinton.
A.) Wall Street wants her in.
B.) K street wants her in.
C.) Lady Rothschild wants her in.
The RHINO party is finished and until something evolves from that bunch of hypocrites nobody will be pushing Democrats out of the public service soup line.

This could be the worst, unattractive, pointless and winless election in memory. I don't feel anything good about any candidate on either side.

The next Republican to be President will be Rubio and it won't be until 2024. Hillary will most likely be the Democrat for the next 8.

Paul can't win a general. Bush can. Rubio most definitely can, and will, IMO.

Did you catch Gary Johnson at GT in 2012? He did a little town meeting there - he got my vote that year.

Paul could, but that's not to say it would be an easy road. He's easily the most likely to get blown out in a general, but he could put together a winning coalition. His youth and energy would be a counterpoint to Hilldawg's oldness. I'd much rather run Rubio or Bush if I'm running the GOP, but it doesn't mean Rand can't win.

Well it'll probably be between Hillary and Jeb. I think George was a complete idiot, and I'm not sure how Jeb is going to turn out although he speaks fluent Spanish so hey. And then we move on to Hillary who is a Democrat but has sort of built this tough shell around her that makes her a little more conservative than the average liberal. I don't really care this time around as long as the gays get rights and Obamacare is continued on maybe expanded a little I think everything will go fine.

Jeb is actually a decent to solid politician. He's not a cocky idiot like his brother. He can most definitely win, but sadly the name "Bush" might hold him back. I don't think Rubio takes it this round, but maybe in 4 or 8 years. Paul would be a good VP option for a lot of candidates, I just think he will struggle to get the nomination.
The GOP's worst enemy is itself. Just look at this board. Most (I'm assuming) prefer the GOP to the Dems, yet will not vote for the mainstream candidate.

Well, when you are about to choose one of the most powerful people in the world, people tend to do whatever it takes.

pointless election
I think alot of people would disagree with you. Maybe not Americans, because they severely underestimate the democratic process that we have. But I guarantee that alot of other countries will be watching our election, because it is possibly the most important in the world.
