re: Did we land on the moon?
Posted by Draids on 4/13/15 at 5:26 pm
It's a legitimate question. I mean were you there yourself to witness it? It's highly possible it never happened but I'm sure if you told that to Neil Armstrong he would take his space helmet and ram it up your anus. I think that people are dumb in the world and I believe that yes we did land on the moon. How can you fake a giant rocket going up in the air and why would you have all of those failed attempts before it why not on Apollo 1 go to the moon if you were trying to fake all this why wait for 11? Conspiracy theories are generally dumb

When the Senate took a poll about whether or not global warming was false or not, the only Senator who thought it was false was of course Roger Wicker, a Republican from Mississippi. :usa: :banghead:

I love how everyone just turns it into the issue of Obama, rather than denying that Bush was in fact mentally challenged

The reason Obama is an ineffective president is because congress is dominated by conservatives so that almost everything he tries to get done gets tossed away by the idiots in the tea party

So there is that political thread and with Jeb probably being the republican candidate, it reminded me of his brother George. I hope you find these funny.
“One of the great things about books is sometimes there are some fantastic pictures.”
“They misunderestimated me.”
To those who don't know, misunderestimated is not a word.
“One of the hardest parts of my job is to connect Iraq to the war on terror." hahahahahahaha
“I think war is a dangerous place.”
There is some truth in that...
“It's a time of sorrow and sadness when we lose a loss of life.”
People can reincarnate?
“There are cameras nowadays that have been developed to tell the difference between a squirrel and a bomb.”
Didn't know that thanks man
And my personal favorite
“Amigo! Amigo!" (Calling out to the ITALIAN Prime minister....)”
Sorry if you voted for him and sorry for offending the honor of conservatives everywhere but I love this stuff.

Well it'll probably be between Hillary and Jeb. I think George was a complete idiot, and I'm not sure how Jeb is going to turn out although he speaks fluent Spanish so hey. And then we move on to Hillary who is a Democrat but has sort of built this tough shell around her that makes her a little more conservative than the average liberal. I don't really care this time around as long as the gays get rights and Obamacare is continued on maybe expanded a little I think everything will go fine.
Please tell me why the Walking Dead and Southpark are good shows
Posted by Draids on 4/10/15 at 12:32 pm
Okay The Walking Dead is considered by many to be a good show I understand. However, for me it is the exact same thing happening again (zombies attack people, they find people, let's shoot guns). It is also flips back and forth between being good and bad; one season could be phenomenal while the next one is like choking on someone else's vomit.
Now that fricking shite of a show Southpark I understand even less. It was supposed to be paper mache which it was for the first season and then it was too hard to produce so it was made into cartoon characters, which I find awful just to look at. For me at least the characters are a bunch of 5 year old Peter Griffins that have the knowledge of a 20 year old. The humor is what one would find in Spongebob except with the words "shite, frick, dammit, etc." How is that considered good?

Walking Dead is awful. Same recurring themes (death, zombies, and violence) and everyone dies except the central character

Top 5 best shows you've ever watched

1. Close one but HBO's Rome was solid. It couldn't be made past 20 episodes because it cost too much for HBO to replicate everything to it's exact ancient likeness if that says anything.
2. Again it could go either way and this one is cliche but The Office. Who doesn't love Toby?
3. The League. fricking hilarious and very quotable. Love watching some Rafi. This is also where "Draids" comes from.
4. Arrested Development (Seasons 1-3). Amazing cast and probably the show that made me laugh out loud the most besides the office, but The League is more sportsy so that is why this is fourth. Also, I say seasons 1-3 because the 4th season was made years after the 3rd and it was totally different and pretty bad if you ask me.
5. Breaking Bad. This was the first tv show I watched in entirety. I am the one who knocks. Solid show.
Notable Mentions
Parks and Rec I am in the process of watching, but it seems like a less-funny and charismatic version of The Office. But people tell me it gets better.
Turn was pretty good but it only has one season so far, but I binged watched it in two days.
How I Met Your Mother I haven't had a chance to watch. Scrubs is the same.
Pretty good list I think
