Meh. He panders far more than his father ever did. No need to pander to the far right fricksticks that are going to vote Republican regardless.
His father didn't pander at all, and you see how far that got him - nowhere near the nomination. Of course you have to pander if you're running under a D/R ticket.

He's no Libertarian. He's a Republican trying to wear Libertarian clothing.
Just because he's more politically astute than Ron, doesn't mean he doesn't share most of his beliefs. Growing up in his house had to have some kind of lasting impact on him.

Do you think that they're going to vote for the Democrat?
He's got to win the nomination for that to matter. It's a big field playing to different sub groups of conservatives. He's got to get some of the more traditional conservatives to come with him.

I grew up in my parents house and it had no lasting impact on me.

Meh. I'll stick with Gary Johnson. He's a better candidate anyway.

You can bet if he does get the nomination (highly unlikely but somewhat possible IMO) that his Dad will certainly be one of his most trusted advisers. Politics is all about pandering, anyone who wants legitimately to win will pander.

One who certainly won't win.

I know that. It's my vote though. I'm not wasting it on Hillary or the Republican nominee.

We all want to believe that.
Regardless, I think he has been groomed for this for a while. I voted for Johnson last election, but if Rand gets the nomination, I'll throw my support that way. He actually has a shot at the oval office and would have his father to answer to.

If Paul's the nominee, I'll vote for him .
If Bush is the nominee, I'm voting for Gary Johnson again

If Paul, Cruz, Lee, or Rubio is on the ballot in November, I'll be halfway happy to pull a lever for the first time in 15 years.
If it's Bush, I will just cry.
Cruz and Rubio are sorta meh, but light years better than the last 2 candidates.

The Bush name is toxic, warranted or not. If the Republicans give him the nomination, I don't see how anyone in their right mind could continue to support that party.

I would be very interested to see a Bush vs Clinton general...both have skeletons that could take them down.

Clinton would win. In a landslide.

The far right won't vote for him in the primaries if he doesn't pander to them. If Rand gets nominated he will then change to a more libertarian stance in the general election IMO.
There is no perfect candidate. Rand is solid though and would make a good president

I literally could see myself voting for Hillary over Jeb.
It just hurt to say that.

I can't vote in the primaries anyway, so I guess we'll see.

HRC is already dropping in the polls. She isn't a likeable person, she won't win anything in a landslide.

I think Paul just realizes that doing things the way his dad did doesnt work in this country. You have to play the two party system to have any real shot of getting elected.

I don't even care about the primaries because I know Clinton is going to win it all and I fricking hate this country for it.
