Minn State Senator (Dem.) Arrested for Burglarizing Step-Mother's Home (bonus WYHI)

Minnesota State Senator Nicole Mitchell (woke Dem who wanted incarcerated felons released to go back to their homes) was arrested for burglary. Her Dad died last year, his second wife (of 40 years) apparently did not get along with Mitchell. So, Mitchell goes out at 4:45 a.m., dressed in all black with a muted flashlight to allegedly retrieve some of her father's stuff. She gets caught. Her defense: her liberal pedigree (media defense), step-mom had dementia and I "visited all the time", and "I was only getting sentimental stuff."

Mitchell's stepmother called police at 4:45 a.m. Monday to report an active burglary. Officers found Mitchell in the basement when they arrived. They found a flashlight covered with a black sock nearby and a backpack wedged in an open basement window that Mitchell later told police she entered through, according to the criminal complaint.
