Also here in berton rouge public schools is a massive waste of taxpayer money.
The large majority of the children in the inner city schools take education as a joke. I’ve been told multiple times by the students only losers have to go to work.
They come to school just to socialize , get the free breakfast/ lunch and to play basketball in the gym.
We need a new education system.

When I taught in the inner city schools of berton rouge girl fights were like twice a week.
They would bounce each other off the lockers in the hallways. Huge pieces of weave/hair ( some with portions of bloody scalp) would be left on the hallway floors.
I’ve pulled other students off the backs of sheriff deputies as they were attempting to break up the fights. I was punched multiple times. The ‘administration’ warned me several times not to try to break them up.
We did hand to hand training in the Army so I took it as a challenge.
And they usually fought over stupid things.

Here is a solution for New Orleans that is mostly painless.
Allow no new migration into New Orleans and Jefferson parish.
Allow no new businesses to open in the above parishes.
Allow no tourism.
If a couple has a baby they must move away.
When a resident of NOLa or JP dies their home/ business must be torn down.Then the land belongs to no one or governmental entity.
Eventually Nola becomes the size of Bunkie population wise.
Eventually no one will be living there and no one gets to own the land. No buildings will exist and the gators will rule the land.
Then no one will have to worry about this place sinking ever again. And as a bonus no more stupid stories will be written on this topic .
When Bienville chose this place to build New Orleans he picked a location that would be able to control the traffic on the river. Otherwise it was a bad location to pick , even the Indians knew better to build any semi permanent dwellings on that portion of land.

Back when 98.1FM was WAFB 98.1 FM it was a great rock radio station that had that big fat sound.
Now 98.1 FM is no longer wafb and its' format has changed and I 've noticed its' sound is now tinny. I can remember when WRNO would play an entire album at lunch.
Condon was was played out, he was just repeating the same schtick over and over.
This station is in dire straits and I would not be surprised if it gets sold. they are playing the same set of songs over and over every 3 hours. Would you buy ad time on a station like this?

There are several gentlemen on YouTube who volunteer their lawn services to assist the elderly and the disabled by cutting their lawns for free.
As they are cutting the grass some a-hole neighbor calls the cops on them.
After the cops assess the situation they thank the lawn guys and drive off.

Great. The little bit that I was forced to pay into Social Security during summers jobs that I had while in college I will never be able to collect.

These newer headlights are so intense that when I put my hand up to block their beam I can see the bones in my hand.
