Updates:
Cesar Ruiz has been playing G/C. He’s picking up things quickly, may start at C.
Ram needs his knee scoped to deal with some loose cartilage but he’ll be fine.
Ty Montgomery has been Impressing early. There’s more but I’m not paying to see it.
Andrus Peat dropped a ton of bad weight and is moving well.
Marcus Davenport is healthy and flying around
Jameis Winston having a great attitude and arm looking great. (Also taking the snaps at back up QB)
Tommy Stevens has been moved to TE. (Jared Cook sees great potential in the move and improvement already)

If Peat would just improve his pass blocking...he would be a damn solid player. Hopefully this weight loss makes him a better pass blocker. The problem with Peat is that when he whiffs...he whiffs bad & the D-Lineman has a clear shot at Brees.
I've always liked Peat's run blocking though.
Peat's body is built for LT imo, but hopefully his new body is quicker against good inside rushers. Peat usually doesn't get beat by being over-powered...he usually gets beat b/c the D-Lineman is quicker, wins the hands battle, or puts a move on him.

One of the good things about no preseason games is the lack of starters going down in the 4th quarter because Payton wants random people to get more reps.

I’m sure they are rotating at both right now. That won’t be worked out till later but would be surprised if that wasn’t the lineup

CSP said both are going to play OC & RG, then they'll make the decision when it's time. Pretty sure Peat is the LG.
I think they want Ruiz at OC, but if he can't pick it up in time...they'll be forced to use McCoy at OC.
