LSU needs a true center.

They are getting eaten alive in the paint.

I heard there was a curse put on you near the end of the film. Is that true?

Not sure about a curse, but I had trouble sleeping last night for sure.

*SPOILERS*

The entire premise of the demon in this film, Abyzou, who preys on pregnant women and is responsible for miscarriages and infant deaths just was disturbing to me. If you’re a couple expecting or trying, I caution you about watching.

Anyway, this is the popular take on what happened throughout the film and I agree…

Throughout the film, the perspective entirely follows one character. While we hear voices throughout it, the only other person who ever appears is Evies mom and she is in a catatonic state the entire time. However, that is the key to it…we only know Evies perspective. I believe that the final walk through of the house at the end of the film was the actual state of the house through the entire timeline of the movie. However, Evie is in psychosis and it seeing the house as it was. Jessa in the audio files? She is Evie. Evie recorded these files and sent them through an anonymous email to her co-host.

Essentially, as we go through the film, the audio recordings are Evie’s perception of the events through her psychosis and her rationalization is telling the truth about what she did. She killed her mother and baby as the pressure of caring for them both caused her to have a psychotic break. At the end, we see her mom’s bed made neatly. Her mom was never actually there in the movie.

Happy to discuss once this thread gets going!

A24 horror films always intrigue me.

I have to say, this one may be their most dark and unsettling one yet.

It’ll definitely stay with you afterwards.

Not with blood and gore, but just other disturbing themes that were presented. I’ll never listen to another children’s nursery rhyme the same again.

Do yourself a favor and see this on the biggest screen possible with Dolby. The sound element in the film is key.

I wouldn’t mind another beastly OL pick in this draft.

It was time.

Saints need an infusion of young blood.

That College Football Final in the early 2000’s was gold wirh Mark May and Holtz.

I was in HS and would look forward to the end of Saturday late nights in the fall to watch that show.

The courtroom segment had me rolling sometimes.
Johnson will get the pitching rotation right, we’ve all seen this movie before.

We’re not even out of February yet.

There’s tinkering still.
Sometimes, another team just has your number.
Staley really does own Mulkey.

That’s a fact.

Because outside of a few markets no one gives a shite about college baseball.

Pretty much only the SEC does.
All insurance sky high, taxes high, lack of good jobs, lack of education, should I go on?
