Great kid & great QB, Google his highlights if you've not seen him play. I've watched him play since the 6th grade, he'll make you forget about Mauk...

quote:

Eddie Printz, who de-committed from UCLA last month after he said he was told the Bruins would no longer honor his scholarship, will take an official visit to Missouri this weekend.

The new SEC school seems to be in the lead for the senior QB which has Lassiter High School off to a 6-0 start. “Missouri has liked him all along, and they came in here and looked at him last spring,” Lassiter coach Jep Irwin said.

“They told him when he was committed to UCLA that it was a long time until signing day and they would continue to recruit him.”
What does Missouri like about Printz specifically? “If you watch how they play, they are in the shotgun and do a lot in the intermediate and short passing game,” Irwin said. “They do a spread offense like we do, but they’re a little more empty [in the backfield] and less traditional than us. It’s a good fit. It’s an SEC school.

Eddie liked Missouri’s campus when he went out there this summer.” Irwin said several other colleges are “privately” recruiting Printz because they have a quarterback already committed.

I've been hearing that he's a potential commit this weekend when he comes to visit. Why hasn't uga offered you think, and if they did would be flip? In your opinion of course

From what I understand, we're trying to.

He was always lukewarm on UGA because of our QB depth, plus we're only taking 1 QB this year & we've got Brice Ramsey(4*, #7 rank nationally) locked up... Good Luck, I'm biased but think he'll be a good one...

Here's his Jr. vid... Has a Rocket arm, very polished...

How is he when running for his life with the pocket collapsing instantaneously?

For this season at least that would be the pertinent question...got to figure the freak injury bug on our OL will be gone by next year though. Right? Umm....right?

He seems like a good fit for us.. nice to get a commitment like that this weekend, a lot better than losing recruits.. which is a real possibility the way we are playing.

And for the people that think Mauk is going to be tough to beat out, I guess there is no way to prove this.. but I really doubt he ever becomes our #1 QB.

Rumors here in Columbia is that he will commit this weekend and has his Dad's blessing...we may not be having a stellar year this year.... but we do send our QB's to the NFL with our last 3 QB's currently in the NFL....gotta be attractive!

Congrats... I love this kid,I've watched him & my nephew has been one of his WR's since the 6th grade. I'm biased but I think he's a steal. Has the intangibles & football smarts. He's a gamer....

FWIW, he has 1500yds, 14 TD's & 2 Int.'s, 60% CP with a 165 passer rating thru 6 games & his team is 6-0 in prolly the 3rd toughest 6A region in Ga. (Cobb Co.). The team is not all EP, they are averaging about 200 on the ground & 240 passing... ....

It's good two fold. Good for us in getting an outstanding QB and good for you because now you can watch him at the next level and he'll play back in Georgia at some point. He'll just be wearing a Mizzou uni. Watching kids play at the nexy level is always exciting and fun.
