They know each other. If there is anyone he sits behind for 2 years it's Pribula.

This is complete speculation but it's not out of the question that Pribula transfers back to Penn State next season if the starting job is open for him. He's a lifelong Penn State fan, it was his dream to be the starting QB there

Would not surprise me. Hopefully a situation where it works out for everyone.

Having been around football my whole life (60+) and being a Mizzou alumni/fan ... makes for an interesting dichotomy of love and disappointment.

Really all he needs to do to be better than Cook is stay healthy and be able to hit intermediate passes.

I think health is a given. He’s more athletic. If he’s even 10% better a passer than Cooks peak last season it’ll have been a worthwhile upgrade.

His film from the Wisconsin game is decent.

I'm all for seeing us make a championship in my lifetime, winning would be great as well.

Living in GA is insufferable with the majority Dawgtards who know less about football than 98% of the folks on this board ...

We have the type of program where if everyone plays together they are pretty formidable. In 2023 we were 2 QB mistakes away from probably a natty. No one talks about it, but we had 5 people on defense make NFL rosters. This is a solid program.

I like Rodriguez. He has a bit of Bolton in him, he diagnosis very quickly and makes plays.

I would love it if I got an email for a NIL push for Mbakwe.

It's being reported Pribula got a $1.5 mil NIL deal which may have been a steal.

Just remember, NIL packages assume the kid meets all his obligations especially social media. I would guess 80% to 90% of these players never come close to meeting their NIL obligations. That's why these big names keep transferring. They're looking for an easier path to the money.

What they sign is more bragging rights than reality. The hot Girls(gymnast and volleyball) make more money because their social media actually hits or exceeds the numbers. Luther made good money because he is a St. Louis kid same with Cook. Unless this kid lights it up, and becomes a Heisman candidate, he ain't getting $750k for 2 years.

Most get a lump sum of front.

An Indvidual's compensation is a full ride/education to the university of their choosing. The fact that has lost any value is an indictment on our society as a whole.

Its pathetic and regardless of how well Mizzou does I disagree with every bit of this crap.

At what point do they write NIL contracts to not allow opt outs? Or start taking money back for refusing to play? We're seeing what the NFL is doing to De'Vondre Campbell for refusing to play.

If they're going to make professional money they need to be held to professional standards.

When NIL isn’t a farcical joke that pretends the kids are being paid for their name, image and likeness and not what they do on the court or field?

$4 million QB......how much on their line is my question. 6 of the 10 spots on the oline two deep are Grad Transfers. Duke has some holes to fill up front.

We got a QB. We needed that badly. Could not go into next season without a truly legitimate QB competition between him and Horn. Let Zollers beef up and get ready for SEC play.

I was unsure as to what was was going on with Sam Horn until I read somewhere that if he does well in baseball this spring he could get drafted by MLB and be gone by next fall anyway - right at the time we need him. I guess this is a hard choice for Sam as he works his way through the football/baseball question.

Eli has always let Sam pursue his dreams but it is good to see Drink was proactive in getting Pribula/Zollers on the team to.
