There's definitely upside at WR next year. If Manning can start doing all the little things like Mookie Cooper, he's going to be a problem. Blood made some nice plays. They all had drops along the way but they can make plays on and with the ball. The addition of Coleman gives them a pretty legit 4 WR set.

I think they have to find a another TE. The #2 guy has to be reliable with the rock.

I have faith that Jordon Harris will take another step at the TE. I would like to see Norfleet put on 12 lbs of muscle to hold up better to contact.

Harris has stone hands at times. Norfleet always leads with a shoulder. Several instances this year where he went low with a shoulder to force contact. Needs to get healthy and learn how to stay that way.

I understand your skepticism on Harris. But remember he didn't really play HS football, he was a basketball player. I'm impressed by the fact he recognized blocking assignments and blocked really well as a true freshman. When a kid blocks like that, he wins me over, so I hope he takes another step in his receiving skills.

The NCAA is backing off their bowl game as a 5th game stance?

Why would that apply to Cook? He played in 12 games this year.

Wonder if Mizzou has interest in the Bama Edge that just hit the portal. Ross, true freshman from KC.

I'd think Early is doing everything to find another pass rusher. Hopefully Smith heals and still has what he showed the staff last fall.

He is a tweener, and takes this for what it is worth.. was rumored to have an attitude problem during the recruiting cycle. IDK if it's why we didn't prioritize him last cycle. Also hearing Nebraska about him...and we know how sneaky and shady those guys are.

From the crew at Power Mizzou

James Madison OL Tyshawn Wyatt is on his way to #Mizzou for a visit. Planned to go to Houston but is visiting Missouris instead

How many OL are we going to add? Are we going to quit recruiting high school linemen? Have we struck out on all our line recruits the last few years? Are we just stocking up on warm bodies from the portal, just in case??

Cook declared for the draft so I don't think another year of college is in his plans.

We didn't get a official visit from the kid. Nebraska, KSU and Bama. Mizzous success is built on chemistry, attitudes are not welcome.

Wyatt is an interesting case. He got hurt last year and missed all of this season "recovering".

Looks like Cignetti wants him to join him at Indiana as the starting right tackle. Guess that's a good sign.

It's my opinion, that Drink is making sure we have a serviceable SEC for this season. Only Williams has more than 1 year of eligibility, Guidice is in case Connor takes a while to recover, then he is guard depth or a starter at Guard. Trost fits our scheme at RT. Both are done after this year. Whispers say K Green will stay at LG, he doesn't have the feet for tackle. Javon Richardson is close to being an SEC LT, but not quite there yet. Reichart is in the driver seat, but Caleb Pyform is solid behind him for now...as far as HS recruits we've brought in. So I believe we are buying time and insurance for this year only, while some of our HS recruits develop some more. I should say, Solis has been a pleasant surprise as well. You need quality & depth on Oline, or you can be overwhelmed, like Ou was with a few injuries.
