Called him a pansy (among other things) on his radio show today and pulled himself, uninjured.

You can hear the exact comments by clicking "Segment 2 - Charlie Tuna".

It's the topic for the first 4 or 5 minutes of the segment. click here

I don't know how many TJ Moe fans there are here, but that's a Bitch thing to insinuate about a kid who came back from injury and his fathers passing, and proved that when healthy he can score against anyone in the SEC.

First, didn't Moe join in the bitching about fans bitching about players? Can't remember but thought he joined in on that.

Second, I don't think he's wrong. In his post game interview, BO was asked about Hall not playing towards the end of the game. His answer was that "He said he was injured." not that he was injured. BO certainly didn't call him out but his tone and saying it that way really made it seem like Hall decided not to risk injury because of the draft. At least that is what went through my mind when I heard it after the game.

Yeah, that was the point I took from hearing Moe on the radio too: If you've decided you're going to play, play the whole game. Don't pull yourself midway through a game you committed to play. And he was quite adamant Hall didn't leave due to injury.

Moe has friends on the staff and/or team, so he knows the apparent truth of the situation.

If true, I'd be livid as a teammate and pissed as a fan.

I stopped at Charlie Tuna.

He's a notorious shitstirrer in STL. Has been for decades.

So the working theory here is that Hall who has fought through his fathers death and injury, decided after 2 catches for 72 yards, against a defense he could have torched the entire game, that he decided to "protect" himself for the draft out of the blue. That this kid took a shite on his QB and team. A kid who has shown not one instance of selfishness. He looked out at that shitty Okie State defense and thought "these guys will injure me, so frick it i'm out."

This is the theory you guys are selling? I'm not buying.

I like Hall and he has been through a lot this season. He came back in the game after he was injured on the long catch. It seemed like he was trying to play through it and made one catch then he was done.

He may have been looking at his future or he could have been hurt.

I ain't selling shite. I think Moe going where he went is bullshite, especially if he did in fact criticize fans for doing much less. Beyond that, I merely pointed out the statement that BO made that struck me as very odd when made. I have no idea if the guy was hurt or not and would lean to giving him the benefit of the doubt. BO certainly didn't have his back in the post game though.

I hope it's not true, but when Moe started in it was shocking.

I do think (based on his comments) some on the sidelines believe it to be true.

Did TJ call out Walters for having a completely unprepared secondary?

There have been reports of this stuff from Hall for a couple years.

TJ knows people in the program. He gains nothing by airing the dirty laundry. I doubt he is just making it up.

A lingering hamstring injury and sports hernia equates to being a pansy.

Good call TJ.

Do I think Moe should have kept his mouth shut. Yes. Do I think someone with month long hamstring issues and hernia issues goes and sets the longest broad jump in 20 years and runs a sub 4.4....
