This record is Kim Anderson bad. I don’t want to hear about injuries and next year and rebuilding.

It’s a disappointing showing. We’re 3-11 in SEC play.

And don’t tell me we will be massively better next year. We won’t.

So do we fire cuonzo? I think he’s doing fine. Just part of rebuilding. Have two decent recruits get worked in with dru Smith we should be fine.

No. I’m still on the Cuonzo train. And I don’t think we fire him for 4 or 5 years even if they all look like this.

It’s a bad year. No point in pretending otherwise.

I honestly think we will be a lot better next year. So much so that this season doesn’t even upset me.

Both Missouri teams have laid an egg this year.

3-11 should be a mercy rule score. End the season now and spare us disappointment.

They’ve played hard all year and been very competitive with top level senior laden teams. They also lost a first team all sec player and have had Mark Smith miss significant time as well. There is a lot to like with this group. Geist will be missed next year, but if you don’t see the potential in Pinson don’t know what to say. Doesn’t like to lose either.

Lost to Iowa State by 17
Lost to KState by 15
Lost to Tennessee by 24
Lost to SCar and Bama by 10
Lost to Bama by 12
Lost to Auburn by 34
Lost to Tennessee by 12 again
Lost to OM by 10

That’s 9 games by double digits. We have like one moral victory, taking LSU to overtime at home.

What were you expecting for this season? It’s a bubble team if fully healthy. Geist is the best player. They are going to struggle and are playing a style to hide their deficiencies.

I was expecting to be building to something. And recruiting to plug holes.

That’s what is happening.

There’s a massive hole at the 4. Tray Jackson is a top 80 ranked recruit to fill that hole.

PG will be upgraded next season with Dru Smith and Pinson with some experience.

Also adding experience to Pickett, Tilmon, Mark Smith and Watson. So they should be better next season.

Unless you are loading up on top 30 recruits it usually takes at least 3-4 years to breakthrough.

You probably won’t like it, but it takes time to rebuild from KA. Times as another 1-2 seasons.

I feel the same way. I like watching Pickett and the drama show that is Tilmons development. As long as Dru is as capable of scoring as Geist then I think we will have a much better year.

Yeah, it's frustrating. Extremely frustrating to see schools like SC, MSU, Aubie, Bama, UGA, LSU & OM pass Mizzou up.

We aren't going to be vastly improved next year. I'm quickly losing my faith in CM. I get it that a team that is playing players with the skill level of Suggs, Nikko, Mitchell Smith and when a Geist level player is your best player just isn't very good. But 3-11??????

Should be a lot better next season, unless his best player gets hurt again. B

Define a lot better. I hear that and I think you mean NCAA tourney team. Or does a lot better mean 6-8 at this point next year?

I think we will Be thinking we’re a bubble team and then we won’t be.

I’m guessing 7-9 or so in conference.

Better as in close to the bubble. Close out some games that they haven’t been able to this year and maybe make the tournament. More likely is the NIT. Which is progress. Also that team won’t lose anyone other than Nikko, so would be even better the next season regardless of the 2020 class. Land Christopher and Fletcher and 2020 could be really good.

I've been disappointed with Tilmon this year. I've seen slight improvement but not the kind I thought we'd see. I think he's about 2 points better per game, barely breaking double digits. I thought he'd be more of a force. I just don't see any aspect of his game that has drastically improved, other than maybe free throw shooting.
