I don't think he can wear visors in December big10 games.

Well looks like PSU is trying to get fan response to Rhule being the hire. Stupid, but good for us. Saw Drinks name pop up on a few lists. Of course PSU fan thinks they can get Saban. How delusional we are about our fandom.

Drink's name is at the top of some lists and is gaining momentum. I think Penn State wants a package deal (in order) of Drink, Pribula, Moore, and to a much lesser extent the back up qb Zollers.

This is crazy how much this shifted our way in 24 hrs.

Drink would be an idiot to go to B10 ... with those PSU expectations.

But they'll give him a lottery ticket buyout ... so who knows

Still think it will be Rhule or Lashlee.

If Drink goes ... first call should go to Sumrall.

I'd think it'd be 11 million annual salary plus Kirby would get a big boost to retain him.

Beau's NIL is 1.5, I'd expect 2 million.

Well damnit, I thought Rhule was the guy. Drink checks all the boxes as I posted. PSU is extremely patient because they prefer stability. His NIL and Portal experience is really what they need plus he likes good defense and the running game.

Damn,damn,damn

Rhule cried when talking about PSU. He is taking the job.

Rhule may never actually be offered. The podcasters and media put Rhule out there.

The there's Dan Mullen, who hated recruiting in the state of Florida WTF???

If money wasn't an issue, who would you hire, Drink or one of these guys?

Dan Mullen wasn't able to take advantage of NIL and the new transfer rule change. He was a year or two away from getting that at Florida.

No one had NIL or unlimited transfers when Mullen was at UF. Florida is stacked with HS talent and for some reason he hated the grind of it.

That is not true. There was a post by Florida fan that said Dan checked out when he wasn't able to get the money for recruits. That was before NIL and the boosters wou l d do most of the dealing in recruiting by deals.

Everyone in the PSU media has said they want someone who is younger, understands NIL, and can recruit. The analogy of the next Dan Lanning type of coach kept coming up.

If I were them, I'd get Matt Campbell from Iowa State.

I think the Beau Pribula factor keeps Drink in the conversation more than it should.

I’m doubt Drink goes to the NE but could be wrong. Ultimately, he’s made a large and rapidly growing pile since he came here. I don’t think $$ will be the biggest factor, I think ego comes in to play and he leaves for the best chance at a natty if he determines he cannot get there with MIZ. Not sure PSU is that place. BUT, also something to be said about doing something that’s never been done before at Mizzou.

Penn State should be interested in Drink as a possible candidate to replace Franklin.

He does have the same trouble that Franklin had winning big games. The best wins for Drink came in 2023 against Tennessee, Kansas State, and Ohio State, but losing the big games against Georgia and LSU.

In the last 2 years Drink has showed he can recruit players in some of the main Penn State recruiting areas.

Pennsylvania recruits
Gavin Sidwar (Visited PSU)
Matt Zollers (Visited PSU)
Bralen Henderson
Beau Pribula played at PSU
Josiah Trotter (Visited PSU)

Ohio recruits
Shaun Terry II (Visted PSU)
Marquise Davis (Visited PSU)
Dante McClellan

New Jersey
Dominick Giudice
Mikai Gbayor

Maryland
DaMarion Fowlkes

Seeing a lot of smoke about Cignetti from Indiana going to Penn State.
A lot of logic here, other than Penn State wanting a younger guy.

If Cignetti jumps, Indiana will be heartbroken.

Yes they will

Josh Pate's take on Penn St

The talk about Leipold scares me. He has worked magic at K-St in my opinion. What he could do with resources????

Good catch. Got confused with Klieman.
Klieman would scare me in a program with resources.

Saw a report Cignetti signed an extension for $11M+. Does Mizzou do something similar to get ahead of the coaching carousel? If I was an AD, I would be very nervous if I had an opening during this cycle.
