Why does Cuonzo trust him?

Did Harris reinjure himself?

They shot well on the line. Oh well. Still better than last couple of years. Hopefully this will help us later in year and moving forward.

Welp.

Two things.

1. when this team gets cold outside they absolutely have to get the ball down low for easy points.

2. Learn to move the ball under duress

I don’t have a solution for the shite arse referees. I’ll assume CM is used to it.

Good game though, I had it as a loss, they played well. Just missing a few key things.

Geist is terrible though. They need someone else. Ugly Bball by that dude.

And Geist someone fouls out. Lol.

11 point lead with like 4 left. Lose by 2+.

We were up 16 with less than 8 minutes left.

Embarrassing way to close the game.

No answer for Carter.

This team was too fast for them when it counted.

We’re decent, maybe a bubble team.

The minute they turned on the pressure, it went south. Cuonzo has go to teach theses guys how to handle a press or other teams will take notice and do the same to us.

Feel like Cuonzo got his arse handed to him along with our players in this one.

I said earlier that I would press the shite out of us. We just can't handle it. Geist and Phillips lost this game being weak with the ball.

These types of teams are going to give us a ton of trouble

Refs were garbage but Cuonzo was way too slow on the timeout call when things started to go south

“They played well”

Are you kidding me? That was horrible! Poor coaching....poor ball handling....and a gazillion turnovers. They looked lost out there. And we have no answer on the floor or the bench for a press. I nearly puked. Remember....Texas A&M beat WVU by 30.

Just remember we would’ve lost this game by 30 and the other team would’ve subbed out their starters with 10 minutes left if we had last year’s team/coach.

I agree, they were not ready for that press, and like I said WVU ramped up the speed when it mattered.

They kinda got lulled to sleep, then WVU got hot when it mattered.

Classic Huggy Bear.

I’m not gonna lose any sleep over this one. We still have too many shite players on this roster. With MPj, we’re killing it, without him it’s a real rebuild.

We’re better than last year, so there’s that.

This is probably the best pressing team in the country and our point guards are weak with the ball. Phillips got ripped twice by Carter on back to back plays. Geist had 3 turnovers in a row.

Guard play was always going to be our issue.

Fraschilla made a great point at about the 7 min mark. They only had two fouls and were able to get very aggressive in their pressure.

This is the correct approach. If someone tells me we go 2-1 at the Advocare tourney and we lose to WVU in a close game, I’m ok with it.

Now how we lost, I’m not ok with. But we’re a work in progress.
