I remember this recruiting class, and all the accolades, and how we were an instant sweet 16 team....etc...then I look at Sparty, Duke, Kentucky and realize we are nowhere in the same conversation with them. A close loss when we had a lead of 16 late in the game is pretty much unacceptable to me, and I don’t care if we had a HS team out there.

A lot of better coaching would have helped solve last nights problems. Cuonzo better get his act together, and quick! Because we are nowhere near a sweet 16 team, and at this rate maybe not even a tournament team. We need to be able to beat teams like WVU. Especially with a large lead like we had.

Sounds like since we got some great kids, now everyone is just happy whether we win or lose. The way we lost that game last night just churns my stomach. Poor fundamentals and extremely poor coaching and ball handling! It’s unacceptable to me, and I don’t care how old or how young these kids are.

Roberts is being redshirted.

That's what I meant. Is he injured? If not, I just wonder how that sits when our guard play is so spotty.

Geist lost the game.

That technical was ridiculous, and then missed free throws down the stretch.

Don't forget when he handed the ball right to WVU 3 times down the stretch.

Geist also averaged 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists over the 3 games in Orlando. He also shot 50% from 3.
Mizzou isn’t in the championship without his play.

Nonsense.

Over the season he’s averaging closer to 5 points a game.

He can’t break a press. He fouls. He’s kind of a cheap shot artist without the Sutherland likability factor. He turns the ball over in the oddest ways. He’s a point guard shooting below 70% from the FT line for the season. He’s shooting 40% inside the line.

Take away his career game for the season and he’s averaging 5 pts, 2 fouls and 2 turnovers in 20 minutes of game time.

Sure you could also take away the game that he hardly played and his stats would look much better.

In Orlando Geist played well. If he plays like that all season I would be happy.

If he plays that much all season, we will be a bubble team or worse.

I’m mean that’s pretty much what Mizzou is without MPJ, a bubble team.

Maybe Cuonzo can get Ramey for next year, he Jontay and Tilmon could do some real damage.

Our ceiling isn’t a bubble team.

Our ceiling with Geist is likely not even that.

It makes zero sense to play geist more than 5 minutes. Phillips is much better, and Harris needs to be groomed to take over.

So WTF is gonzo thinking if he even is thinking?

Maybe geist gives good head

Watching the game..., Geist looked to be arrogant when Mizzou had the 16-point lead in the 2nd half. I wondered why he was not pulled out after his 2nd consecutive turnover..., at least to cool him off for several minutes.
