They face a pretty mobile QB every day in practice too.

It'll be interesting to see if they put a spy on Daniels. I would think we'd have enough guys in the LB room to rotate and keep a spy fresh and help disguise which LB it is, if they choose that strategy.

An excellent point that really can't be emphasized enough.

Trotter and Jacobs are more than up to the task.

I'm kinda skeptical about all this adoration for Daniels. Last year was his best year statistically, and they won 5 games. His numbers are those of a poor mans Brady Cook, and those mostly against the more suspect of Big 12 defenses. I think Jason Bean won more "big" games than the oft injured Daniels.
The National Media seems impressed with him, but as none of them actually pay attention to ks football, they're mostly just parroting local ks sportswriters.
I see it close in the 1st Quarter, then Mizzou pulls steadily away.

Daniels can play. If he was Missouri's QB to start the season they would have been a ranked in the top 15 given the RB Room, Coleman, and the defense to support him. He's going to make some plays, especially if the DEs fly past him and give him the field to work on the Mike in space. I'm hoping Drink grinds their front 7 up with Hardy and Roberts and exposed their LB depth.

Top 15? No they wouldn't. It'll take several more years of success before they get past the name on the jersey front. Tom Brady in his prime wouldn't move that needle. Maybe the lower 20s.

Daniels can play, but I think the rest of the offense is so average that Daniels isn't enough to beat you.

They were ranked 11th in the preseason 2024 with Cook, Burden and Wease and questions about the defense after Baker leaving. With no questions on D or at QB, a sound RB room and all sec slot they would have been ranked higher than 20ish. We can agree to disagree.

Maybe I'm just tired of the SEC. I still prefer being here, but done with any hint of conference solidarity. I hope they all lose. Screw em.

I'm not tired of the SEC, but I do want all of them to lose. Screw them indeed.
Is it wrong that IDGAF about Kansas anymore either? Beat them and move on. I'd rather smoke Georgia or Alabama.

Nike said our old gold can look green on screen but Vandy looks just fine to me on TV. I like this look, but would love it in old gold.

I refuse to contribute to any thread that capitalizes the heathen state...

Win or lose I think we can all agree that this must be a yearly game and although playing the game in Arrowhead is fun, I think it's gotta rotate between the two schools each year.
