Mauk's passes seem slow and soft. We were talking about it and his passing changed after that hit he took against Indiana.

What do you think - has he been playing hurt because Printz isn't quite ready?

Nope just sucks, he doesn't have 6'6 Wrs to catch his high throws anymore.

Serious question. How the frick do you throw for 20 yards in a game? If Printz, Berk and Zanders aren't better and better right this minute then the staff has done the absolutely shittiest job of recruiting that I've ever seen. Fricking put someone else in for the love of God. Defense and special teams are not going to score 29 points for you every week.

33% completion percentage. Really?

20 yards passing. Really?

0 TD, 1 INT. Really?

1.1 yards per attempt. Say it with me. Really?

He's got one decent receiver and no confidence in anyone else. I'm not sure any of the other qbs would be any better with this receiver group.

Maybe Mauk is just the most mobile and least likely to get his brains beat out while GP tries to recruit some pass catchers for next year . . .

I think GP believes it's just a confidence thing with Mauk, and if he just gets passed that he will blossom.

One more thing that isn't mentioned is GP's relationship with daddy Mauk and that may be some of the reason why no one else is getting a look.

There's no way Moore, Lee and Brown could be worse.

Maty isn't hurt...he's offended. Offended that some folks have the audacity to suggest that he's a part of our offensive woes.

He's terrible. Plain and simple.

Great to get the win, but it simply masks our terrible offense for another week.

SEC play:

12/34(35.3%) for 132 yards, 0 TD's 0 INT's
9/21(42.9%) for 97 yards, 0 TD's 4 INT's
6/18(33.2%) for 20 yards, 0 TD's 1 INT's

That is:

27/73(36.9%) for 249 yards (83 per game), 0 TD's 5 INT's

That's just putrid.

I've never seen anything like it, I understand that you guys hate my negativity but this is the kind of stuff that Pinkel does that makes me blow, he's determined to lose on purpose by being stubborn, that's not fair to these players.

Sometimes I don't understand how negative you are, but I must agree with your post. GP is not being fair to a defense that is playing its arse off and to Murphy who is lights out.

It's hard to believe that a coach can ruin a successful progam, but you only have to look at Texas to see what can happen when ego replaces coaching talent. Who would have believed mack Brown would have destroyed Texas and he had won a NC.

I don't know what exactly is going on, but I hope Alden doesn't let last years success blind him to the destruction that is being perpetrated on Mizzou Nation.

If that little worm passes for 80 yards against vandy next week and he's not pulled the fans need to revolt, this is disgusting.

The problem with playing Vandy is we can beat them with the water boy playing QB, which is essentially what we have, and GP will use that to justify his decision to keep playing him.

I think he was playing with a soft cast on his arm, so I'm guessing yes to some degree.

Dear God I hope this was meant as a joke. If it was serious, please NEVER post again.
