I've said this before, bass was a good poster before Odom was hired.

He just REALLY dislikes Odom and it creates a huge bias in his posts.

I'd take Bass with his honest opinion over any two bit paid pump.

This is the problem with many Mizzou fans and media. Mediocracy is totally excepted and excuses are many. Real Mizzou fans want to see BO succeed because that means Mizzou succeeds.

We are in the SEC where football and recruiting is the norm. Where the fanbase is dedicated and passionate about their teams to be the best.(Kentucky and Vandy might be the exception) Our attendance is putrid and our fanbase excepts the Okie Doke.

I probably misread some comments. I just like enjoying actual wins no matter who it's against. That 10 win hypothetical pump thread. Tear that up all day long. Just enjoy the actual Ws. One day you could be winning the orange bowl the next baker mayfield is grabbing is crotch over your football programs dead body. Life happens fast.

Mizzou with a good recruiter could have top 20 classes. Simply get the best talent out of Missouri would go a long way. We regularly miss out on players in St. Louis where coaches tell their kids to play elsewhere.

Mizzou will end up in the high 30s or mid 40s once all the teams behind us actually sign their classes.

"Stealing" a 2 star, getting a walk on, and signing unrated kid were the highlights of the early signing period for Mizzou.

I know I'm excited.

South Carolina has a top 20 class because Muschamp can recruit.

Mizzou isn't competing with Clemson in Missouri and we still cant sign our own players.

A coach who can actually recruit could bring in yearly top 20 classes to Mizzou.

Elite recruiters can recruit anywhere, look at Oregon, Washington, TCU, SCar, just to name a few.

Stop acting like Mizzou is not in between two football hotbeds and isn't in the SEC.

LOL. Come on dude.

You are just so terribly wrong on this. Coaches have very little to do with how a school recruits.

Odom is a poor recruiter right?

How many top 5-10 classes would he reel in at Alabama?

Odom is not an elite recruiter. GP was not an elite recruiter.

So schools just recruit themselves?

Maybe true for 5 or 10 schools.

But everyone else is coaching.

You're hopeless.

Tell me more about Mizzou going 2 for 9 on elite in state talent, I'm dying to hear how that doesn't matter.

Why are you using Alabama? I admitted there are 5-10 schools that recruit on brand name.

How many top 20 classes would Odom get at TCU?

Yes! For fricks sake...yes. Why is this simple fact so hard for so many to grasp?

Why do the same schools finish in the top of the recruiting rankings year after year regardless of the coach?

Maybe this simple excersize will help...I'm a 4* from ATL. Pitch me. Tell me why I need to come to Mizzou instead of Georgia, Clemson and Auburn.

Answer the question. Odom is a shite recruiter right? Coaches have a significant impact right? Surely he'd tank Alabama's recruiting right?

Why TCU? Patterson didn't have a top 20 class at TCU last year. Hasn't had one in 5 years (stopped checking after that, has he ever?)

I guess he's a poor recruiter too?

The fact that shite tier SEC schools like State, Kentucky, USCjr, and Ole Piss out-recruit or recruit at the same level as Mizzou every year is ridiculous. That’s all I have to say.

Top 10 is actually pretty different year in and year out save for a handful of teams.

Those schools also hire better coaches.

Unless you're ready to tell me Odom is on the same level as Meyer, Saban, Dabo, etc.

For blue bloods they have the prestige sure.

If Mizzou had an elite recruiter they could get top 20 classes.

Pinkel and Odom are not and still manage classes in the 30s.

2 for 9 on elite prospects in Missouri this year.

Mizzou shouldn't be recruiting Georgia. By far Pinkel's biggest folly.

Nah according to JQ Mizzou is the 12th best team in the SEC and can never recruit better than that.

If Saban came to Mizzou could he get a top 20 class? Yes/No
