D. His performance was poor but was exacerbated by a terrible group of players.

F-

Absolutely horrific and it's very close to where it literally could not have been any worse.
The best thing about this year is that it's over.

Bozo the clown could have done just as well or better.

Wow

@todpalmer: #Mizzou failed to score 80 in a game this season, the first time that has happened since 1951-52, which predates the shot clock by 35 years.

What grade will he get when he wins 30 games next year and goes to the Final Four?

F-, but since he's a "True Son," I will upgrade him to a solid F.

Incomplete.

If players besides Isabell and/or Bello transfer, that will change to a D.

If we sign no one in the top 150, that will change to an F.

I think it's honestly unfair to give a grade this year. Yes, we have 4-star recruits. What have they showed us? 1) They can't shoot 2) They're shaky with the ball 3) We have no defined post presence (Williams III plays rather soft) 4)We have zero leadership from upperclassmen, because, well.... We have no upperclassmen (Rosburg doesn't count).

This team has a lot of talent and even more question marks. Lets see if these freshmen can mature and grow as players. On most teams, roughly 3 or 4 of our guys would play impactful minutes. (Teki, JW III, Clark, Wright)

I have no doubt these kids could be really good in the future, but they have lots of holes to fix within their respective games.

Fair enough, but I wasn't grading the players. I'd be more than happy to start a thread grading the players. I also don't see it as unfair to grade this year. Think of it like high school. After KA's freshman year, he has a 0.00 GPA. He still has 3 years to bring that GPA up where his cumulative GPA is a 2.5 or whatever, but he can still get a GPA for that freshman year.

F-

Those players have lots of talent. This was by far the most talented group of players at MU since the early 90s.

However, they were recruited to play in more of an AAU type of offense and be free flowing under Haith. Their skills did not match what Anderson forced them to play and they spent the entire year doing crap they had never been asked to do before. They played tentative, confused, and indecisive.

Anderson was way in over his head, inflexible, and unlikeable.
