I was optimistic about pribula leaving kU game last year. Then the offense turtled shortly after. Felt familiar to Cooks last season. I’ve heard both were injured. Hopefully, we are developing a serviceable backup. Whether luck or by design, Pinkel always had a qb in waiting on the bench and prepared.

If Simmons exceeds expectations and leaves for the draft, this is very important. Not sure if Riley will leave for a coordinator spot after one year but having Zollers get two years of development under him would be preferable.

Why not pay him to stay another year? Many quarterbacks are forgoing the draft to play another year and getting paid more to stay in college.

Why dont you look up a first round draft pick fully guaranteed 4 year contract value by draft slot and get back to me with your findings.

He is getting 2 million dollars this season. Next year he will get 2 million dollars again. I think he should stay another year and give himself a chance to be a top 10 pick. How many quarterbacks are going to go in the top 10? That is why he should stay since he will have a year in this system. Why do we see many quarterbacks decided to come back for another year? I picked Missouri to go 5-7. He will need two years to get a chance to be a top 10 pick or so in the draft.
