If he can carry the weight and still pursue to the sidelines like last year, he will be the next All SEC DE for Early.

This is the part of injury that is most concerning. Id hate to see Hardy get impatient and come back in less than 100% condition.

The way I read it...Hardy is thick in the thighs, hammies and glutes. He got shot in the glute and couldn't participate in weight lifting and now 1 butt cheek is a little smaller than the other. Give it 6 weeks of squats and lunges and the glute will pop right out. Or at least I hope so.

Being a young man certainly helps but your body burns through muscle pretty quick when you stop training because of the metabolics of maintaining it once it is there. Getting back to his 2025 physique by the beginning of the season seems overly optimistic

I blame myself. I've brought on the wrath of the coonass and that's likely who's behind it.

Back to football.

Did we ever get an injury update on Elias Williams?

I dont think anything has been said about it since May when HCED said he was on the road to recovery. I guess no news is good news.

I hope Hardy takes the time to be in last season's playing condition before returning. He is too special of a player not to.

I do think that Roberts will make the most of this opportunity. He isnt the same kind of runner as Hardy but his long speed and hands are better. I have said this in other threads but Lindsey likes to get his TBs involved in the pass game and Jamal is tailor made for that role. I think he will open some eyes this year.

Sterling Webb is asking for a 5th year. Mizzou has a spot for him to come back, per the lawsuit.

Getting him back for one more year wouldn't be a bad thing
