Naw. He’ll move across the state and take DC’s job when we hire him.

Will Healy has turned down the Mizzou job and is probably on his way to Ole Miss to intervioew for their job.

“Per Healy’s agent, he’s interviewed for Missouri and next for Ole Miss. He’s a shoo-in for Ole Miss unless someone pays the agent more... I mean he’s in for sure at Ole Miss. Trust him.”

You’ll never guess who Healy’s agent is.

Clawson doesn’t have Sexton as an agent.

I’d hire him based on that alone.

I asked myself today if (and it’s a big IF) the Bannersports story is true, did Sexton advise Odom to get the public vote of confidence?

In a nutshell, Odom asked for a public vote of support from university leader ship. They came back and said not now. Odom went to his staff and said they’re firing all of us. That got back to Starke who called Odom on the carpet about what he told his staff and Odom and Sterk got into it. And while the administration was initially inclined to give Odom a Mulligan on the year, he eventually willed his own firing into existence.

After having observed BOs tactical ineptitude for several years, I find this believable.

I just can't see Sexton telling Odom to go put the President on the spot in the midst of his losing streak. I find it easier to believe that maybe Odom panicked a little. Telling the staff they're getting fired seems a little childish.
