I have seen that. Again - that does not explain Pribula not seeing or not choosing open receivers to throw to covered receivers play after play after play. This video from Locked On Mizzou does a good job of showing that problem. He has several examples of Pribula not seeing/not throwing to guys that are REALLY open.

He also touched on Moore's weird "run right" play calling in the first half. Hoping there was a reason for it, but I still have not read one.

A lot of people have been down on Moore after the game. And some questions about his thinking are warranted. But these videos suggest he may have made some better calls than it appeared. Maybe he made some calls that created the open receivers MU wanted, Pribula just did not execute the plays.

Sure it does, or it can. He may not have any confidence in his ability to deliver a ball quick enough for some of those throws. He is only looking where he think he can do damage within his "comfort" zone.

We really dont know. BP clearly hasn't been a well taught QB and doesn't seem to be picking things up as the season goes on. It may just be that BP isn't QB material.

When money is involved nothing should surprise anyone.

On further thought the best face I can put on this play is Alabama knew Pribula would target Olugbode. They knew there was a good chance Beau would stare Olugbode down and overthrow him.

So they moved to cb over to collect the interception. Or the cb moved over on his own.

Something for the staff to point out and correct. John Miller promised a video later this week that highlights good plays from Beau Pribula.

Those good plays were also supposed to be turnovers. Beau almost fricked up throwing the game.

If Bama rolled coverage away from Marquis on that last play, they must have picked up some tendencies or some tell that Beau was giving.

I don’t see any other reason to leave our best deep threat wide open.

This is what happened. Bama's DC out coordinated Kirby. If they can see he's doing it, then we should definitely see it.

Does BP just not throw short left? I'm trying to think if he throws many to that area of the field. I remember a lot of throws middle to right.

He's got the same problems that plagued our last QB ... bad eyes, bad reads, happy feet, etc.

Elite QBs like Simpson are tough to find. Guys who move safeties/corners with their eyes, go through their progressions and throw seeds when called upon.

He was behind Allar for a reason ... arm talent lacking, between the ears lacking, gimmick QB, etc.

I have hope he'll figure it out but the film that I've been watching indicates the problem isn't all Moore (though he is a good portion of it)

They need to simplify things for Beau and play to his strengths by getting him in space to use run-pass options.

Their DC pantsed Kirby.

Why Beau actually threw into it is another mystery.

If he's elite, he pumps the seam and hits Johnson for 50 yard TD ... Can see at 3-4 seconds that Johnson CB has bailed ... ball out at 5 seconds. Just a complete misread.

But kid is green and growing

Both boundary defenders were in zone reading the QB. The slot defender had the flat and the CB had the deep 1/3. Both defenders flowed to where the QB was looking.

Staring down Olugbode was bad enough. He compounded the problem by making a horribly placed throw.

Redemption is only 4 days away. Auburn plays the run tough. Beau is going to have to shake this one off and play better.
