I’ve tried to look it up but if we put a red shirt on Jones does he still go to the total number of 13?

I think redshirt still counts.
There’s some rumors of him having to go prep school to qualify academically.

Dave Matter said Christian Jones has not responded to Mizzou since Cuonzo was fired.

Hodge’s commitment put Missouri one player over the 13-scholarship maximum for 2022-23 season unless one of the team’s six returning players or signed recruit Christian Jones decides to play elsewhere next season. Jones, a three-star guard from East St. Louis, has not returned messages since Mizzou fired former coach Cuonzo Martin last month.

That works out nicely for us. He's more of a low major guy

Then say Bye bye. He's not that interested in Mizzou.

Much like Brazile, he must have seen that he wouldn’t get much PT with the talent Gates is bringing in

Dream transfer to get is Tyrese Hunter, who also is a PG. Exactly what we need. He would completely change the outlook of Mizzou basketball.
Im aware we have no chance, but a man can dream.

It's amazing to think that I have never seen any of these guys play. Whether they transferring in or out, I have no clue who they are.
I will be able to watch this fall though.

Looks to me Gates has decided to blow the whole program up to start over his way. Good luck to him.

Not sure how good it will be year one but I can’t be worse than last year or the Kim Anderson years right?

Don’t understand this signing with so many more PG left in the portal. Honor is another 2 time transfer. Started off at Fordam. Played one year at Fordam then transferred to Clemson and redshirted 19-20.
He was pretty good at Fordam his Freshman year.

His numbers don’t stand out at Clemson. He started 10 games in 20-21 and 25 last year.

This is fantastic. Clean it all out.

I wouldn’t overanalyze this pickup, Gates brought him in as a metaphor. He is going to restore Honor to the program

Only issue with all these transfers, most could be gone in 2023 depending on if they want to exercise their covid eligibility or not. If they dont, we have a lot of holes to fill next year again via transfer portal. IMO we need to grab 4-5 next year out of HS.
