He’s not the answer but they need to find ways to take some of the load off Roberts. 60 carries in two games.

I think the answer is give Favrow the pass pro reps until he proves he cant make the blocks. Thats going to mean giving him some carries and putting him in the pattern at some points in the game. He certainly cant do worse than Edwards has done the last 3 games.

Got to do something to reduce workload. 16 straight runs isn’t sustainable.

Im a little surprised they haven't let Hatfield get some run.

We have no one that can replace Roberts for a full series. My 2 cents, need to expand rotation even if it’s a couple carries. Mix it up and pass on 1st down. Anything to give him a play off here and there. He was gassed on that series in 3rd qtr.

This would be a revelation because the script is awful. They are averaging 2 yds a carry in the first quarter.
They have 127 1st down rushing attempts to 60 1st down passing attempts. Its been that way since Drink took over.

Let’s hope this is our snake in the grass moment at Ole Miss.
Let’s come out slinging the rock. They will surely be shocked. Bombs away on first down. First series. First play.

It would be awesome to see them jump out to a first quarter lead and put some pressure on OM.

I posted this on the rant but pass protection has been good. If Simmons is dialled in they need to make this game about him and not the run.
Roberts won't last the season if they don't use him correctly.
Damn the bad luck for losing Hardy!

To address the backup QB situation..i looked up the 2007 team stats Chase Patton saw the field 10 games Pinkel never needed him, but he was ready.

I just hope the Ole Miss D has not improved since their game against FL.
The Gators pretty much did what they wanted to, pass or rush.
If they put the same D out there, we will be able to pass and get some rushing yards with other guys.

There is no reason to think they will use him incorrectly.
There definitely isn't a precedent.

He has hit 22 MPH in each of the last two games on the end of game house calls. Not too bad after 23+ carries.

Jim Brown and John Riggins laugh.

You obviously don't understand that great athletes appreciate great athletic achievements from others. Especially if it is something they have experienced in the past.

Uh, I was making a reference to those who would imply an excessive workload. Had you any knowledge of football history you would have understood that. As everyone else did.
