What Nuke said.

If Green comes back they have no excuse not to throw a bag at the best OT on the portal. The interior oline group in the portal is underwhelming.

Drink's OC choice shows he does not plan on changing philosophy much, or at all.
We have to upgrade the lines to have any chance at breaking out of the mid-tier "good team" group.

We're obviously not changing our offensive philosophy, not with Hardy/Roberts back, but let's see who is added personnel-wise before we assume it'll be the same old stuff.
Also, I think our new OC has been watching plenty of this year's film. I'm confident he'll see what we all saw in terms of our predictability and lack of creativity.

I hope your confidence turns out to be well founded.

We're in the portal tracker thread and I happen to think that roster construction is Drink's biggest strength. These next few weeks will have a lot to do with what his new OC wants to focus on in the off-season.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with our offensive system, but there are a handful of times in a game when the play caller has to use his balls in addition to his brains. I know it's common around here to say that Drink was the one halting the offensive creativity, but I really don't think that's the case.

Not worried. This is one aspect Drink has mastered.

I guess I didn't realize Trost could return.

Interesting name hit the portal. Michael Hawkins from OU. Would be good competition with Zollars. We would also get his brothe Maliek as a DB which we need. Hawkins flashed some ability. Will need to grow so is perfect to battle Zollars for QB1.

Speaking of former sooners, Gentry Williams is in. I know we recruited him in hs and we're needing CBs, big time.

This is becoming the ultimate WTF?
Why even bother recruiting high schools is the jack-offs have the attention span and commitment of a gnat?

No point recruiting HSers except the top end instate kids and a smattering of developmental kids.

There should be all kinds of reps available at safety next year. Yaro sucks.

I’m not sure all those guys are choosing the portal.
Some of those are having the portal chosen for them.
I forget the exact stats, but Carl Reed had some stats a couple years ago where he said that like 30-40% of guys in the portal from power conferences wont play another snap of Power conference football. Something wild like that.

Honestly surprised Jones stayed as long as he did. He got lapped several times on the depth chart.
