I can see why he's a mid 3 star. The mechanics are a little wonky. Did he also pitch for Platte City? But damn, hes got everything else. The right QB coach to clean up the mechanics and he's a starter.

Platte County also had the State Player of the Year that was a junior SS that also pitched. Rocco pitched some because of how many games are played and how the playoffs are formatted.
In 5A in the quarterfinals you play the best of 3 games to go to the state championship. Webb City beat Platte in the 1st game and lost 2 close games. Webb 4-3 in 11, Platte 3-4, and Platte 5-6 in 9.
The biggest difference in Missouri sport classes is probably baseball. 1,2,3, and 4A pitching can’t hang with 5A and 6A in a 3 game series. Most 5A and 6A schools play 35 games in a season class 1,2, and 3A play around 20. Class 5A and 6A travel. Platte County played in a tournament in Gulf Shores, AL and Webb City played in a tournament in Chicago(9 hours away). Webb City plays against Kansas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma teams every year and have 8 6A schools in their conference. Webb City is the smallest school in their conference. Joplin, Nixa, and Ozark have double the amount of students.

He has had official visits to Okie State, Ole Miss, Miss State, NC, and Mizzou. He’s been to Arkansas several times and went to the game last week in Fayetteville. He lives around 2:30 hours from Ole Miss.
It probably comes down to Ole Miss. with Mizzou and Arkansas a close 2nd and 3rd.
He might be the #1 ranked player in Arkansas, but he doesn’t play against tough programs playing in class 2A.

That feels like that hyped LB from Lutheran North a few years back, Antonio Doyle I think. Big athlete, but put up many performances against a lot of overmatched 3A competition.

DL Danny Beale from Cherry Valley, AR had 5 official from Ole Miss, Miss State, UNC, Missouri, and Ok State. He was an Ole Miss lean, but now that Kiffin is gone it might be between LSU, Mizzou, and Miss State.
Cherry Valley is 5 hour and 42 minutes from Columbia, 6:18 from Baton Rogue, LA, 3:35 from Starkville, MS, and 2:23 from Oxford, MS.
Beale is #1 in Arkansas, #15 DL, and #119 overall.
