Drink’s recruiting is going to get better now that it’s legal for the kids to get paid.

Back the truck up now? Pick his own salary blank check?

1 full season of games first. He does well, and then we get the dump truck.

Georgia poster on the Recruiting board mentioned Mizzou was rumored to be one of the best at pitching NIL benefits to recruits.

I heard that too. The administration better not screw this up.

Why does this not surprise me?

If Mizzou has a big year the bluebloods are going to come after him hard.

Drink is savvy as hell. Doesn’t surprise me. I hope like hell we can keep him at least 4 years so if he jumps to the NFL, we have a high quality guy to replace him.

The Iowa State coach will probably get NFL interest after this season. Then the Cincinnati coach. If they go and are successful, then the clock starts and the NFL will be sniffing around Columbia.

I will say this though, Drink seems to love the college game and working with students athletes. I mean. The videos of him being fired up about recruits choosing MU seems genuine as hell. He’s pushed for facility upgrades. He seems invested as hell in bringing Natty spotlight back to us the likes we’ve not seen since Chase Daniel years.

I think it’s possible we can keep him 4-5 more years. With four daughters and his Mormon upbringing, you’d think he’d be thinking about stability as they grow up. He’s in the SEC now. MU would/should give him years to burn if he brings what I think he brings us.

I think he's with us until Jon Grudens contract expires with the Raiders.

The NFL is such a copycat league and young offensive minded college coaches seem to be the trend. I'm still amazed Rhule got the opportunity so quickly. But if a few crash and burn, then the NFL will move on to another trend.

I dunno if I see Drink as the Vegas kind of coach. I see him as a Midwest coach if anything.

Or future Bronco HC.

We just need to lock him up. I don’t care what it takes. I want to see where this thing can go

Jones and Woods. I guess Robinson too but that seems like an odd take. He doesn’t really fit the profile DB we’ve been taking. Perhaps him being from ESTL has a little something to do with it

Robinson has got to be to keep EstL happy. And that's a smart move.
