Les Miles will probably change the recruiting in KC area. He will be the best recruiter KU has had that I can remember

1 year before Les Miles came to OKST they were ranked 40th Nationally.
1st year at OK State they were ranked 51st(probably not his recruits).
2nd year 31
3rd year 21
4th year 24
Kansas won’t be a top15 recruiting school, but Miles should have better classes.
Kansas Class ranking the last 9 years
2010- 64 2011- 40 2012- 81
2013- 49. 2014- 50 2015- 73
2016- 70. 2017- 71 2018- 61
Currently ranked 174. I’m sure that will go up, but they are 18 and 90 since 2010 he should improve that as well
I also thought Charlie Weis would improve their recruiting when he was hired in 2012. He went 6-22 and 1-18 in conference play in 2 plus seasons. He did help them little, but not like when he was ND and had one top 2 class and had top 15 classes each year.
I hope KU stays terrible and he can’t recruit

Actually he may make some inroads in KC especially if he gets them competitive. Lawrence is only 30 to 40 minutes from KC and while I hate to admit it, some Missouri people have become fans of ku simply because of the close proximity to KC and the basketball team.

Pulling Texas 3*s and a couple 4* RBs to Stillwater is an easier sell than Lawrence.
