Kid can run, I'm guessing it's between us and Illinois. Did he attend "Night at the Zou?"

Yeah, oh well as far as the player. But frick I don't want Smith gaining traction in the STL area. ESL will be next.

I don't think one player does that. He'll get guys out of STL. If he lands a blue chipper then I'll start to worry.

Of course he's going to get guys. And I won't like it each time because each time it's like planting seeds. Plant enough of those seeds and you eventually land that blue chipper. Like I said. I know it will happen. But I'll never like it.

Ford has had tough time getting the better players out of SLUH.

True enough. I recall talking to someone who said the sluh hc wasn't a big pusher of mizzou. He's retiring now so maybe that can change.

It's not like SLUH is a D-1 factory, but Corey Taylor, Raymond Wingo and Ablen are the only guys from SLUH that Ford has been able to convince to come to Columbia in 16 recruiting classes.

Paul Chaney, Ronnie Wingo, Niko Mafuli, Stephen Simmons all chose other programs. The may or may not have been contributors at MU but that is beside the point.

That link doesn't say anything about Boyd committing to Illinois.
