Yeah, I was more referring to the DT position. We'all have 4 or 5 FR play. We always do.

I'd say Rountree has a pretty good chance to play, even in a limited role.

Makes a lot more sense, but we only have two freshmen DT coming in. Cross seemed adamant that Whiteside would play.

Beckner is obviously a stud, assuming he's healthy. Logan was a starter, but he's fairly well down the list of the best starters we've had at that position over the years.

Between those two, Palmore, Brandon, Young, and Whiteside, sounds like we have at least six interior DL who can play. Huge change from what we were expecting.

Just noticed that Virginia Tech signed 26 players. Nine of those were early enrollees, and they signed 21 or 22 last year (don't know about non-qualifiers), so I'm not sure how that affects how much room they have overall. But it might be a tight squeeze to get Zion DeBose into their class.

They were supposed to be the favorite.

He decides on Friday.

Jesus...thanks for keeping an updated list in the OP. Did you want to run another one for 2018? If so, if you start a new thread, I'll sticky it.

When Porcher committed a couple of weeks ago, the talk was that VT would have to process some current players to take another edge defender in their class.

I hope this works out in MU's favor.

This year's class was deficient.

Can't remember if I found this link here or not. Apologize if it is a repeat.

Important stuff from interview -

5 of MU's recruits would have been top player at their position in Missouri. (Pretty sure that would have given them a higher ranking, especially if they had played in STL or KC area).

Heitert was high on Boyd, not as much on any other MO kid. Said if you consider Graves a LB (he is a tweener at the moment size wise), then Miller would have been right there with him rankings wise if Miller played in MO. Remember, some had Graves as MO's #1 prospect.

This was a wonderful interview for perspective on who the MU coaches were chasing and why.

That was a great interview with Heitert.

Here's another one to get people fired up: Josh Heupel on this 2017 class. LINK
