This is what I would think. They may very well be the best ever but to assume it right now seems kinda ridiculous

I played both ways but on offense I was just an extra blocker 99% of the time.

Ackerman. Had I stayed on the team I would've had a couple rings. Dangit

Not really. Depends on how you really want to look at it.
Very true.

But yes, we lost Bumphis, Smith, Clark, and Green.
Yep. Shouldn't be a problem...

Not really a stretch.
At this point? Yeah that's a bit of a stretch. Maybe they'll be good eventually but damn. That's pretty damn homerish of you.

I'm starting to think this isn't going to be the big shoot out everyone is saying it's going to be.... I'm expecting a 31-24 type score... Lots of holding and drive killing motion penalties in the first game of the season.. Substitution penalties too .

Yeah but i think he is kind of right. I really don't care that we lost smith, clark, or green. Another thing to consider is that this will be the first year in a while that we've had a real WR coach. I don't think they'll be anything special but they won't be bad.

It seems some are also forgetting the '95 squad with Moulds, Chris Jones, Shaston Coleman, & Reggie Kelly. Moulds by himself should end this discussion. Did they put up gaudy numbers? No, but they were playing in Jackie's old school "Defense & Special Teams wins games" style. Those guys were the most talented group IMO.
Yeah, this will be nice to see.

then you know of the coach I speak of. Denson was his last name.

Do you think that this group is going to be the best ever? Like CDawg proved its a little early to claim that.

Not at all. I think they were great. Reggie Kelly will tell you up front, he is not a receiver though. In fact he said he would not make it in Mullen's system.
He averaged less than a catch per game.

yeah but the skills of any receiver do not stop at catching a ball or route running. Moulds was a great at downfield blocking.

Thanks Jackie!!!
The same way Donald Lee was underutilized.
