14-13 Grinders in a defensive battle

We get a banks punt return and force 3 turnovers.

Mullen is 28-17. Sounds like a good pick. It probably isn't accurate, but when you grind, it's about style and not accuracy.

MSU - 28
Bama - 17
JFF - You're next.

28-17 Dawgs, we hold them to 7 in the first half and give up 10 in the third. It's depressing how much better we are in the 1st 2nd and 4th quarters than the 3rd. AJ made some questionable throws against Ole Miss, no offense Henry but you guys for have the secondary we do; however, it is still the best they have seen to this point and you guys should have picked off a few of those. The game will hinge on our ability to slow down the run, Quay becomes a man in this one and makes a name for himself.

Disclaimer: I'm probably completely wrong.

Last year we lost by 17. Despite the home/away differences I feel like we are a better team this year and Bama is a worse team than they were last year(Not by much, but I do feel like last year's Bama team was better). I feel like that 17 point gap is going to slide to at least 10. Last year's Bama game was Russell's third SEC game where he really started, with number 2 being a game against Kentucky. Russell's a lot more experienced now and our offensive line is playing a hell of a lot better. On defense the pass rush is the only area we haven't improved on since last year. A lot of people are predicting we lose by more than two scores but I just don't see how we can lose this game worse than we did last year.
