Yeah almost feel bad for him, there's no going back now, he has to live with it. Almost, but not quite, have to sleep in that bed.

Like trying to get back at your ex by porking a fatty, except you knock her up.

Good analogy. Should've just gone to Bama but sounds like he wanted to make a statement in the process. Now reality is setting in.

What a fricking chode.

It's obvious you could care less dip shite, you're still tweeting about it.

ETA: I take it all back. We missed on Scott Lashley and Nigel Knott. We dodged a bullet in AJ brown.

Knew where he was going when I glanced at his Twitter profile last night. Dude has been loading up with faith based tweets. Hard to believe the religion pitch is still working.

"To God be the glory. Saying a prayer Mullen texts me back this time."

I understand not wanting to go to College in your hometown, and if that's the case he should've went out of state. He's gonna catch shite for this years and years..

Really has to do a better job of getting them in to try things out. You know after that first audit there is no turning back.

No, he isn't, and he went to State.

And this narrative that coaches push kids to certain schools or have a meaningful impact on their decision is very dumb.

Saban knows Lashley will never play at Alabama. That pull was purely because he didn't want him at State. You can bank on that.

this is some dumb shite right here.
Why would Saban waste a scholly on a player that will never play for him just to frick with a coach that he routinely rapes every year?

Saban doesn't seem the type to waste a scholly.

Dan has cracked double digit points against Saban once. Saban is afraid if State signed Lashley then they may be able to do it again.

Well, if so then that's one reason we didn't get him. No room for playing time next year. Being a good high schooler and getting time over Ross (the SEC's best receiver last year in conference play), Gray, Brown, and Dear are different animals.

Realistically he probably fills Ross's position which means he would have been competing with Dear for 2 or 3 years. Maybe he could step into DeRunnya's role but I don't really think so, need more height there.

You're joking right? It may not have happened in this instance, and I don't think it did, but to say that is very naive, and ironically, very dumb.

Alright. You come back and bump this thread if Lashley ever plays meaningful minutes at Alabama and I'll eat crow.

You can bet that Saban will start recruiting Mississippi much harder now.

The culture of high school football is so full of ego now. You have basically construct a shrine for the kids and post it instagram to satisfy them.
