Lester Earl is sitting at home about to pull some obscure stat along with 3.5 paragraphs of BS to tell you why you're wrong.

Agreed. Neal just hasn’t shown he’s capable of hitting SEC pitching, and he’s a downgrade on defense

Milazzo has outhit/outplayed Neal for two seasons now.

It has nothing to do with Auburn.

We lost several games when Milazzo played. That isn’t a knock on him or Neal. It’s just the team wasn’t playing well back then.

He’s hit .222 over the last 2 months, including tonight

32% K

Better than when he was hitting .135 but still not great

And he has had critical hits like tonight. Pretty sure he had the most RBIs of any player in the game tonight with a 2 out hit.
That resulted in Herring not being used.
He is a better defensive catcher and hitter than the youngster

He dropped both his nutz on Auburn. That good enough for one night?

neal hasn’t been great either though.

every time I think hes gonna turn the corner he slides back

Milazzo double was an example of why Jay wants Neal to take the spot.

Great hit, but that’s about as good as Milazzo is gonna do and it landed short of the warning track.

that being said, it was a 2
our double that scored 2. those have been few and far between.

Neal has been hitting better than milazzo lately

Unless you just totally ignore the facts & use the “eye” test
