The healthcare comment is ridiculous. Alexandria has Cabrini Hospital which is part of the CHRISTUS network of hospitals and Rapides regional hospital. Both are top notch.

Several good elem schools like Peabody Montessori, Nachman, Cherokee, Paradise in Ball, Caroline Dorman in Woodworth, JI Barron in Pineville…

Bolton converting to an Academy is getting better. I personally know the new Principal and he will continue to make it better…ASH, Pineville, and Tioga are all A schools. Rural schools such as Rapides, Oak Hill, Northwood are solid B schools.

Several good neighborhoods. Lake District, Landmark, Tenneyson Oaks, Charles Park, Westpointe…all in Alexandria. Pineville has several new developing areas.

Restaurants are Spirits, Verona, Ballinos, Diamond Grill, Tunks, Trios, Rosie Jo’s and several crawfish type restaurants….and chain restaurants like Walkon’s, OliveGarden, Outback, etc

Not sure how long you’ve been in Tiger droppings but Eduardo Perez has been talked about extensively here for years and the consensus for most everyone is he’s terrible. Why they continue to trot him out for college baseball is a mystery.

I’m a baseball purest about this and this is a pet peeve of mine. If you’re the visiting team, you need to be wearing gray… Either gray on gray or gray pants with school color. Ridiculous that they both wearing orange/red and white pants. The NCAA steps in with football, why don’t they do it with baseball?

What bothers me so much about this year was the evaluation for guys in the portal. We have some players that were on the roster (freshman and couple of players that wound up transferring) that Jay overlooked in favor of some portal additions. How can you look at York and believe he was SEC caliber? What is the evaluation of pitchers from the portal? Many of them were a miss. Simpson was equally as bad. My concern is a repeat of talent (portal) evaluation.
