I guess many of you are too young to remember how Saban was hired at LSU. Charlie Weems of Alexandria and a committee of the BOS conducted a national search. While the media was throwing out the brand of the month then, the committee was vetting candidates and making the decision. You don't want one person making the decision. That's what got us in this position to begin with, even going back to CEO. The committee approach is nothing new and has already given us one of the greatest coaches of all time.

4 post...obviously a troll. But what the hell, I will bite. Dude, there are a dozen openings nation wide right now and some pretty damn good programs. None of them are filled and won't be filled until after the season is over. Coaches are under contract and must coach their teams for that season. They can put feelers out through their representatives, but nothing will break until December/early January, when most of the football is over for the year...

For the love of Christ, get it through your heads, BK isn’t going anywhere. Will he eventually get fired or leave, absolutely. Can he retire on his own? Possibly, but doubtful. Can LSU come up with $100 million this year to fire Bryan Kelly, no! It’s gonna take 50 million to buy him out and 50 million to hire a new coach.

If anyone is out there like I was you know right away those fools weren’t LSU students. The hundreds gathered at Highland and S Stadium smoking weed at 6 pm were not students.
