….. The point is we’re gonna have to be lucky to get a favorable matchup to make it to Omaha. We just got beat down 9-3 with our number two starter, who pitched great. Our hitters are terrible aganst good pitching. We have five arms that are reliable which puts pressure on our whole team. We will make it out of the regional but against a good team in the super we lose.

OK, so if the runner was stealing, should not have Brown known that or is he not reading the signs either. So the runner was stealing on his own and then Brown was trying to bunt on his own. Is that your argument? Because if I’m at bat and the runner is stealing, I should know he’s stealing and I’m not gonna try to bunt for a hit if he’s trying to steal the base.

The situation was terrible all the way around. I feel bad for all the families involved with this series of tragic events. Why would you want to glorify any of that, especially the suicide part, with a statue? It should be for players who did extraordinary things in sports for LSU, not for this...

I think the problem is the way he pitches. Always seems to labor out on the mound and many times takes batters deep into counts. He always seems to mess with fire, but then you look at his stats and they are not that bad.
