That's the point. At least there's some decent Bama threads and discussion every once in a while. There isn't a single legitimate Mizzou thread that doesn't devolve into something about Mizzou not belonging. It's not a big deal for most, but there is a reason the Mizzou fanbase has gone from being pretty strong during football (even when we were losing) and basketball (the same) to being non-existent.
It's hard to be on the Rant as a Mizzou fan when there's Mizzou boards out there where every single thread doesn't turn into a shitfest.

What they (admins) should do is restrict posting privileges.
Only people with a positive/good reputation around here should allowed to post threads.
And people can work their way up.

Due to the overuse of the meme, acknowledgment of the enraged state, rustled jimmies, etc. is going to do nothing to raise the discourse. I suggest addressing the content in those situations and ignoring the emotion.
Perhaps we should decide who the truly clever/funny are from each fanbase and those are the only people allowed to make jokes?

If the admins would just without warning, ban anyone who says anything about "rustled jimmies", or rating flames out of ten, or anything about being "in your head", the board would be so so much better.

Plenty of the pictures and gifs are hilarious. On the other hand, I've seen Cam’Ron ask people if they are mad 8 million times. It was funny back in 2003. Think about that. It has been posted for 10 years. It had a helluva run. I think we can retire it.

Think of the funniest thing you have seen on the SECr. Ask yourself if it was a umad meme or some other jokey internet joke. Most of the really funny things on this board got beat to death by fans of the same school of the poster who created it. Funny left in the hands of the unfunny is a dangerous thing.
